i contently walked through the small forest, it was fairly quiet, only the relaxing sound of birds chirping or small sticks breaking beneath my feet were heard. i was walking to school with alvaro by my side, everyone besides us was at school because me and alvaro don't have a first period, apparently i'm "smart" so i don't need one.
we finally made it to the other end of the forest, stepping out onto a empty parking lot. i squinted my eyes due to the annoying bright sun shining in my eyes. there was two boys sitting on a curb, just talking to eachother. they didn't notice us so we just kept walking on our way to school.
finally, one of them took notice to us. the boy hollered at us to get our attention. we kept walking through the sidewalk at a normal speed, trying to avoid whatever they had to say and acting as if we didn't hear them. finally, a different voice hollered to us, "come the fuck here, are you deaf?"
k: "maybe we should turn around.." i turned to look at alvaro to see him rolling his eyes.
a: "they won't do anything, kai. just keep walking"
i ignored alvaros feedback and turned around to see the two boys right behind us. my eyes widened and my heart dropped. one grabbed me and shoved me against a wall and so did the other to alvaro.
there was a tall italian boy holding me by my wrists against the wall. a somewhat tall hispanic boy was holding alvaro by his arms. i turnt my attention back to the boy holding and yelling at me.
m: "you speak english?" i nodded hesitantly, trying to avoid conflict to which soon i realized was useless.
m: "than answer me the first time !" he shouted at me, making me flinch.
m: "what's your name?" he spoke as if he was demanding instead of asking.
k: "kairi, k-kairi cosentino"
k: "who are you?" he grinned in response, backing up slightly to give me room, also letting go of his strong grip on my wrists.
m: "i'm mattia polibio"
m: "where are you going, anyways?"
k: "school.." i rubbed my wrists, his grip on them actually really hurt
m: "oh so you skipped?"
k: "no.. i don't have a first"
he glanced over at his friend which was still standing infront of alvaro, holding his arms. he looked back at me and held out his hand to which i flinched slightly in response.
m: "i'm not gonna hurt you" he chuckled. i slowly held out my hand to his and shook it. he held my hand tight, it actually kinda hurt.
m: "you're scared of me? cute." he grinned and let go of my hand.
m: "what's your number, shorty?" he grinned at me.
k: "w-what?"
m: "you heard me. let me get your number"
k: "why?" i furrowed my eyebrows in confusion
m: "because i asked, why else?"
i shrugged, pulling my phone out from my back pocket and handing it to him. he typed in his number then pulled out his phone from his back pocket and typed my number into his phone. he handed my phone back to me.
m: "also, i'd be lying if i said you weren't kinda cute." he shrugged nonchalantly
m: "you can go now. be safe, pretty boy" he grinned and began to walk away
k: "wait" mattia turned around with a questioned look. i directed him over to alvaro still being held by that other boy a good distance away
m: "ale !" the hispanic boy turned his head to look at mattia.
m: "let's go. now." mattia spoke with a demanding tone.
ale rolled his eyes in response then proceeded to say something to alvaro before walking away with mattia. alvaro quickly ran over to me
