6 and a half year old Kevin was on a bus.

He was smiling, why wouldn't he smile? It was Christmas Eve and the streets were lined in pretty decorations and lights. He had his Mommy and his Sister with him, there was no reason not to smile.

So why was he the only one smiling?

Yes, 6 and a half year old Kevin was the only one on the bus smiling.

The lady holding a baby wasn't smiling.

The man dressed as one of Santa's elves wasn't smiling.

Even his 12 year old sister, Jessica wasn't smiling, instead frantically checking her phone as if she was running out of time.

Yes, it was Christmas Eve and 6 and a half year old Kevin was on a bus. He just couldn't understand why he was the only one happy.
