Ruby: what's wrong Yang?
Yang: if I tell you, you can't tell anyone.
Ruby: ok!
Yang: I'm pregnant.
Ruby: pre...pregnant?
Yang: yes.
Ruby: what does that mean?
Yang: I'm going to have a baby.
Ruby: a baby!?!
Yang: shhhhh, yes. I'm having a baby. Now remember, no one can know.
The two girls hear a knock on the door. Their father walks into the room.
Tai: hey girls *seeing Yang and Ruby's faces* what's wrong?
Ruby: Yang's pregnant!
Yang: Ruby!
Ruby: sorry!
Tai: please tell you're kidding.
Yang: sorry dad.
Tai: *sigh* how did it happen?
Yang: I woke up after I passed out when I got drunk.
Tai: alcohol? Already?
Yang: sorry dad.
Tai: as long as you raise the child yourself, it'll be fine. I'll help along the way. I am extremely disappointed in you young lady. You should know better than to get drunk off your ass.
Ruby: swear jar!
Yang: I know.
Tai: well this is an unexpected chapter in my life that's for sure.
Over the span of nine months, Yang became a helluva lot moodier, but she was always doing something around the house. Ruby helped her around alot while her dad helped her financially and gave her a place to live. She awoke one morning and went into the kitchen. She saw her father sprawled out on the couch, fast asleep. She walked towards the cabinets before feeling a liquid substance run down her legs. She cried out in pain and walked towards her father who was now wide awake.
Tai: what is it?
Yang: my water broke.
Tai panicked before coming to his senses and taking her to the hospital. She admitted to a Labor Room and set on a bed. Yang cried out in pain as she felt pain shoot up her body. She felt these shots of pain become closer and closer as time went by. For every contraction, there was a cry of agony from Yang. A doctor came into the room and began to instruct Yang.
Doctor Ludwig: Ms. Xiao Long, I need you to breath slowly for me. Can you do that?
Yang: *nodding* uh huh.
Yang breathed in and out slowly as she relaxed a little.
After several hours the doctor told Yang to push.
Doctor Ludwig: I can see the head. You need to push Ms. Long.
Yang tried several times. The doctor was adamant on reminding her to push.
Doctor Ludwig: you need to push Fraulein.
Yang: YOU TRY TO PUSH A BABY OUT, FUCKER, YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT PAIN I'M GOING THROUGH!!
That shut the doctor up real quick. Yang pushed one last time and the room filled with the cries of a newborn infant. The doctor cut the umbilical cord, cleaned, and gave the baby to a nurse. The nurse wrapped the baby in a blanket and gave it to Yang.
Nurse: Its a healthy baby boy.
Yang: *smiles* look at his little ears.
Nurse: what are you going to name him?
Yang: y/n.
Nurse: we'll bring you clean sheets soon. You can hold him until we do so.
After a few hours, the nurse carefully took y/n from Yang's arms. They replace the bloody sheets with clean sheets. They put y/n in the nursery and make sure that he has nothing wrong with him. Y/n is checked and passes all of the tests. Yang stays in the hospital for a few days until she regains her strength. She is visited a few times by her family.
Tai: this is my grandson?
Ruby: and my nephew, don't forget about that dad.
Tai: right. I wonder what eye color he has.
Ruby: maybe we can see them when Yang and y/n are allowed to leave.
Tai: or we can ask Yang herself or a nurse.
Ruby: true.
Tai: come on Ruby, we have to prepare Yang's room for the baby.
Ruby: operation preparation is active! Let's go! *speeds out of the hospital causing the staff to look at Tai who nervously chuckles*
Tai: sorry.
Nurse: It's fine, your daughter will be released tomorrow, Mr. Long.
Tai: thanks.
Nurse: no problem, have a good day.
The next day
Yang was released from the hospital with her baby in her arms as she walked to the car. They went to a store at the mall to buy stuff for y/n. Yang found a silver binky for y/n to keep him quiet. They found several toys for him as well.
Once they bought the stuff for y/n, they went home to relax. Yang put y/n in his crib and started to sing to him.
The sounds were caused by the humming. The song is magical.
Y/n fell asleep instantaneously when his mother stopped singing. Yang started to relax as she listened to her father start humming a song Summer song to her all the time. She changed into her pajamas and laid down on her bed and listened to nature. She relaxed her body as she saw y/n's sleeping form. She soon fell into a deep slumber.
