"Have you heard about how the Fight Dome is offering training?????" Yelled Cascade as she ran up to her friends.

Delta, Lena, and Fawn had been walking home from school, Elk Valley High School. The girls were all seventeen years old; all in junior year, almost seniors. Judging by the title of the story, you’ve probably guessed that they were all elemental benders. But not of the same element.

Of the four elements, three were represented in the group of four. Fawn was an Earthbender and was the girl dressed in black jeans, a light tan shirt, and a thin dark-green jacket that went down to her feet—which were in stylish black boots. Her hair was dirty blonde, and curled a bit at the end, but not too much. She was the sensible one of the group, but stupid at times. She was also the youngest of the group. And she had a lethal screech. Well, not really, but it might as well have been.

The girl on her right was Angelina, or Lena for short. She was an Airbender, and was wearing a warm orange dress that went down a few inches above the knee. A red-ish, yellow belt went around her waist. The only thing that wasn’t in tune with element colors were the magenta streaks through her medium-length brown hair, of which was always up in a messy bun. She had a bubbly personality; the loudest one in the friend group, but able to hold very… interesting conversations.

The one on Fawn’s left was Delta, a Waterbender. Her dark brown hair was usually in a sidebraide, like now, and she was always wearing her fake wolf ears. She was dressed in dark blue jeans and a thick, furry coat that stopped at her waist. And under that, she was wearing either a black or midnight blue sweater. It was hard to tell. She was the smartass of the group; and one of the violence-loving ones. But she was decently nice to her friends.

Then at her side was a little white wolf pup. Tamed, fortunately, but wouldn’t hesitate to attack if her mother was as well. And that "mother" was Delta. The puppy's eyes were ice blue, just like the sky of her and Delta's home, Antarctica. Cascade also happened to be from there, too. The name of the wolf was "Little One", the most uncreative name in the world, but it fit. And was adorable.

When Delta had found Little One, her real mother had been killed. Gutted and burned for food by the Fire Nation. After seeing the fake wolf ears on her, which were made of bear fur, Little One had seen Delta as her new mother.

But anyway, remember the girl who was screaming at the top of the page? That was Cascade, who had lived in Antarctica with Delta, and was also a Waterbender, even though her dad had also taught her the art of blood bending, even as an Earthbender. She was dressed in dark blue pants, but those were covered by a navy blue dress that went down to her knees. Then on top of that, she was wearing a sky blue cloak that touched her furry, brown boots. Then on top of that, she was wearing a short, furry shawl, with a hood that she never usually wore, unless she was really out of her normal for that day. She was the weirdo of the group; always hugging people and doing weird voices. Along with being very over excited about things. She was also sometimes able to create a similar screech to Fawn's. And, just from personality alone, you could probably mistake her for a firebender, as she could be hot headed at times.

"AAH! Cascade!" Lena yelled, frightened. "I've been SPOOKED."

"I’m sorry." Cascade replied in a baby voice, though she returned to her regular voice.
"But I overheard someone talking about it on the way to meet up with y'all. I also saw a couple posters about it."

“Posters about what? You really need to learn how to speak in full sentences,” Delta rolled her eyes as she asked.

"Well, frick you too." Cascade told her, sarcastically. Delta responded by sticking her tongue out at her. And Little One growled, backing her mother up. "Shush," she said, patting Little One on her soft, furry head. She was almost immediately calmed. "Anyways, the posters were saying that tryouts for the new training camp are starting later this week."

“Training camp? For what?” Fawn asked curiously.

"For our bending powers, young child." Fawn looked offended at Cascade's response. She and Delta usually teased Fawn for being the youngest out of the group. "Y'know, waterbending, airbending, so on, so on?"

"Oh." Fawn replied with a blank stare.

“Yeah, we know what bending is. But for what?” Lena asked.

Cascade groaned in frustration. “The Fight Dome! Didn’t you hear me when I was running over to you guys?” Her friends could be real idiots sometimes.

The mention of the Fight Dome had everyone’s eyes widening. The Fight Dome was the most publicized event among all element benders. A group of the best benders of each element would sign up and be chosen, then in the Dome, they would fight against each other in teams, and whichever team lasted the longest had to then fight amongst themselves for the singles trophy. Whoever lasted the longest there had the winning title until the next match they were put into.

They didn’t win actual money or anything; it was more about showing your power and gaining respect among strangers and the elite. Basically, it told people that you were not to be taken for granted.

The four girls were obsessed with being in the events that took place there, so even hearing news about it was a big deal.

“Fight Dome? Like the actual Fight Dome?” Delta asked, her voice becoming a higher pitch than usual in her excitement.

Cascade nodded with a blank stare. "Well, yes… are there any other Fight Domes that I could be talking about?"

She rolled her eyes. “Shut up you idiot, before I kick you.”

“Why would you kick me?!" Cascade asked, deeply offended. "I am upsetti spaghetti."

“What you just said is exactly why!” Delta growled.

Fortunately, before either had the chance to shed the other’s blood, Fawn stepped in. “Guys, shut up! We’re finally hearing news about Fight Dome training, and you two are wasting that precious time making threats. Now, what were you saying about the camp?” Delta looked down in shame and muttered a small apology.

“Well, as I was saying, the Fight Dome has set up a training camp for the teens, like us, so we can be ready for the fights that we will most likely be taking part in once we've reached the age to do so," Cascade explained.

“So, this is gonna make it easier to beat people into the ground once we actually take part in battles?" Lena asked after being silent, which wasn't too usual.

“When can we sign up?” Delta asked.

Cascade looked at her, knowing full well of what she had said earlier. "Later this week… like I had said?"

“You said it was starting later this week. I just wanted to know if we could sign up earlier,” Delta huffed.

"You're just repeating what I had already stated. Now hush." She said, turning the palm of her hand dramatically towards the confused and offended face of her friend.

Delta’s jaw dropped. “Rude. But you didn’t answer my question! Can we sign up earlier? I want to make sure we get in!”

"Will you both shut up?" Fawn interrupted. "We should be able to find a date-"

"Thursday, so tomorrow," Lena said. The other three looked around to find her staring down a tree with a paper posted on it.

"Okay, then," Fawn chirped. "We'll go home, get ready for tomorrow, and see if we can get in."

"Yeah!" Cascade yelled, throwing herself and a high five into the air, and landing face first into the ground. Delta didn’t hesitate to burst out laughing at her. Her pain was funny. And of course, being Cascade, she wheezed, trying to laugh along with the wind knocked out of her.
