As Leo began to finally approach sleep he heard a hoarse voice.
"Where am I?" He shuddered, looking at the pale boy.
"The infirmary, aboard the Argo II."
Nico made a confused face before looking down at their still intertwined hands.
"Who are you?" He asked shyly.
"Wow, that hurts. We like never spoke but I figured you at least learned my name. I'm Leo, Hazel asked me to keep you company." He said.
"Hazel?" Leo laughed a bit.
"Alright Di Angelo, not funny. Hazel, your sister, brown curly hair."
Nico made an even more confused face. Leo widened his eyes before yelling for Percy. After a few seconds lots of footsteps were heard running down the halls. In a matter of seconds the door swung open.
All of the six appeared out of breath, Hazel in the lead. Piper met his eyes but he shrugged her gaze off. If she looked at him too long, she might see how low he was.
"Haze... I think he hurt his head really badly. He doesn't remember anything." She came to his side quickly. Sitting on the bed, adjacent to the side Leo was on.
"Nico, what happened to you." She brushed a strand of hair behind his ear. He closed his eyes, the worry lines between his brows deepened.
"I-I don't know what happened or how I got here... or who any of you are!? I don't even know who I am." He finished looking at everyone as if trying to remember their faces. Hazel sobbed quietly and pulled him into her chest. He sat with an unreadable expression. She pulled away and ran her hands through his hair.
"It was shorter when you were last here." She laughed through the tears. He brought his hand to his hair and felt the length.
He looked over himself and down at his body. Hazel took his hands in her own.
"I don't know what happened and how this all came about but I'm keeping you on the ship with me until we figure it out." She gave his forehead a peck before stepping away. She looked at Leo making sure he got the idea.
"Don't worry, I'm your personal heater Haze." He smiled wearily and she smiled back thanking him. Percy and the others waved off before heading out.
"Thank you Leo, you're always there when I need you." He said turning to leave, before casting a humorous look back. "And hey, maybe you two could become friends." Leo doubted that, but gave Percy a weary smile. Maybe this was more important than sleep.
