I'm loading up my plate with three different types of chips, five cookies, and three slices of cheese pizza, while Michael loads his plate. As I pull on the slice the cheese stretches. Yum. And as I take a bite from the pizza, Ashton walks up to us, with Luke.

    "Hey Michael, hey Blake,"

I choke on my bite, because of course that's what Ashton and Luke walk in on. I manage to choke the bite down, set my plate down, and grab a napkin to wipe my hands and mouth.

"I hope I'm not interrupting snack time," Luke says, causing Michael and I to look at each other, because that is what I had said to him just an hour prior.

"It's all good," I say, picking my plate back up.

Luke walks me to the dressing room and we sit as I take another bite from the pizza.

"So you're a Calum girl," he points out, almost causing me to choke again.

"I thought today was to just spend a day with you guys, not you guys bullying me for being in Calum's lane," I say after I swallow the bite I took.

"So you are a Calum girl."

"Yes but please don't make him feel weird about it. I adore all of you and I'm honestly just happy to be here."

"Well, welcome to Luke hour," he says, with a small smile.

"Wow, love the energy," I avow sarcastically. "Really makes me feel welcome here."

"I'm sorry, I'm just a bit tired," he admits, but the smile on his face gives it away. He and I take a seat next to each other.

Who can blame him? He's been touring.

"It's understandable, you work hard. Plus that's a whole ass mood right there," I say.

"A whole ass mood?" he asks, looking amused.

"A mood," I repeat. "A big mood. A big fat mood." I gesture my arms to show how big of a mood it is, before taking another bite from the slice.

"I get it, I get it, you get tired too. And I'm aware of the term, just the way you say it is interesting," he chuckles. "Where do you work?"

"I work at the mall closest to my apartment, specially in the food court, I don't make much but it pays the bills," I shrug. "I'm definitely in a financial situation where I can get college payed off for me when I decide to go."

"That does sound tiring," he sympathizes. "Working there must get annoying. Dealing with customers, probably mean people."

"Eh," I shrug. "It's kind of fun, I like the interactions with people. But school was more tiring. Man, I used to fall asleep in class all the time."

"Really?" Luke sits forward, seemingly interested. "How did you get away with it?"

I finish off my first slice, put my plate down, and clean myself up with a napkin to really talk to Luke without any distractions.

"Yeah, it started off at the end of the day, in freshman year. The teachers I had at that time were really cool an as long my work was done it was fine. And then it became around the third quarter of the day, after lunch when i was a sophomore. Those classes were one with a teacher who just assigned work and only helped kids who went up to his desk to ask, and the other was someone who was like, "You're either paying attention or you're not." They were nice teachers though, pleasant to talk to. Then it became before lunch in junior year. It was harder to get away with it because it was in classes where I had to be participating in but any chance I could sleep, I did. And then senior year hit, and I was sleeping in first period. I had to bring coffee, only to be asleep by the end of the first class. I was voted 'Most Likely To Sleep Through Nuclear War' in the year book," I take out my phone and show him the picture of the yearbook.

"That was actually a category?" he asks.

"No," I tell him truthfully. "They created it just for me, well it would either be that or High School Drama Queen because of how out there I was around Tyler or my teachers. My homeroom teacher made the petition. I was pretty proud to win it. It was some big thing. "

"Wow, you must've been very popular, then," he assumes, and I shake my head.

"Me? Psh, I'd be lucky if anybody noticed me," I say. "Teachers would just always wake me up in class and I guess it caught on. People teased me about it but that's the most attention I got. Nobody was mean, just never got close to anyone but Tyler. We had a group but it was just people to sit with at lunch. Like people barely remembered my name, so they called me "sleeping girl," not even like "Sleeping Beauty." Well my teachers called me Sleeping Beauty. But yeah I wasn't the quiet kid but I wasn't popular either. I just had Tyler and some cool teachers."

"I mean its good to have that one friend," Luke says.

"At this point, he's more than a friend, he's like a brother to me. Ive never had any romantic feelings towards him, and he hasn't had any towards me. So its always been like this."

"Have you ever had friends before him?"

"I had play date buddies from Australia but I moved when I was nine. So like, spent a few years here without friends, which was fine, I have my parents who are super cool. And Tyler is the only friend I need."

"But would you want more if you had the chance to?"

"I mean sure, why not, it would be cool. I'm sure I can make some friends in college. Then again I haven't made friends at work..." I shrug.

I begin to feel bad. Ive been rambling on all day about myself, and the boys just keep asking more about me. This day isn't supposed to be about me, its a day with 5sos. And I'm ready to drop the conversation here and now just to make sure I can talk to Luke about something he'd care about more. But just as i open my mouth, hoping to change the subject, Luke opens his mouth to say something I didn't think I'd ever hear from any of the boys. I begin to pick up my plate and start eating the chips when Luke looks at me, and tells me:

"I'll be your friend."
