"I like that but, we all have hair," Michael tells me.

"Yeah but you're known for yours. Like if you were to be known for something unique and cool about yourself, it's your hair. Its crazy, its cool, and it inspired a lot of your fans to dye their hair, I explain to him.

    He chuckles.

"So, tell me more about your friend Tyler."

"Tyler and I have been friends forever, well since middle school but that's still a long time."

"How'd you meet?" Michael asks me.

"So it was the first day of sixth grade, I'm completely lost, and so I ask around, but other sixth graders are as lost as I am. I'm nervous, I haven't even figured out how to open my locker, I'm close to tears, and then I see Tyler."

>_<>_<>_<

"Do you know how to get to room 218?" I ask around. Nobody is answering!

Everyone is rushing to their classes, nobody has time to answer my question. I'm getting anxious, I don't want to be late on the first day. Everyone will look at me, the teacher will think I am unreliable.

I keep on asking, and keep on getting, "No, sorry," or, "I'm late for class," or, "Ha! Stupid sixth grader."

"Does anyone know the way to room 218?" I practically yell.

"You're looking for room 218?" I hear a voice behind me and I turn, to a boy, smiling big, in clothes that his mom probably picked out.

    "Yeah," I nod.

"Hey, me too!" he chirps. "Let's go together."

"Okay," I smile, happy I'm not alone.

We begin walking, looking at the rooms, and their numbers.

"I'm Tyler, I'm a huge ladies man," he says, running his fingers though his hair.

"That lady must be your mom," I say.

He pouts and stops in his tracks.

"Hey I'm just teasing, let's get to class," I grab his hand.

"Told you I'm a ladies man," his pout turns into a smirk, and he winks at me, gesturing to our hands.

I roll my eyes and drag him along with me.

    "I'm Blake," I tell him.

"Blake, never heard it for a girl... I like it," he smiles.

We find our class and sit in random seats, right next to each other.

"You seem pretty cool, and let's be real none of the ladies know me... yet. So I'm alone, and you seem the type to scare guys off...Wanna be best friends?" he asks.

"Are you assuming I don't have one already?" I cross my arms.

"No but I'd like to be best friends, even if we just met. I need to know you're willing for commitment," he says.

"Like you said, we just met," I roll my eyes but smile. "But, you got yourself a deal, my friend. Or shall I say best friend?"

He smiles as I hold out my hand for him, and he shakes it.

>_<>_<>_<

"And since then we've been best friends," I finish my story.

"And you were eleven when you met?" Michael asks me.

    "Yeah," I confirm.

    "Aw that's so cute!"

    I smile.

"Tyler is definitely in your lane though," I say.

"That's sweet," Michael says.

"He wanted me to talk him up, but I'm gonna be completely honest, he's a dork. Like a major dork, he thinks he's cooler than me. But I'm cooler," I joke.

    Michael chuckles.

"Anyway he loves you. Like you are his favorite celebrity crush."

"Flattering...but I'm sort of taken," Michael chuckles. "But tell your friend I say thanks."

I smile, and say, "Will do."

"So tell me more about Tyler, why is he your best friend, other than the obvious reasons,of course."

"Well, since then we've done literally everything together. Shopping, movies, going to amusement parks, concerts, including yours, and we've just been inseparable. He's more than just my best friend, he's my other half," I tell Michael. "But not in a romantic way. In a best friend, he-could-be-my-brother kind of way."

    He nods, understanding.

"Is Calum your best friend?" I ask, and he responds with shaking his head.

"They're all like my brothers, which is great because they all have siblings but I don't, but now its like I have three bothers. So I totally get you, enjoying having a friend who's like a brother. And of course there is Crystal, she's amazing."

"That's so sweet."

"Yeah.. anyway so we talked about Tyler being in my lane. Who's lane are you in?" Michael asks me.

"I gave Ashton this whole explanation. Used to be him and Luke, then you, then Calum. But like just minor celebrity crushes."

He nods. "Understandable. But earlier today, you two seemed very close. Ive never seen him like that with anyone, so it was new."

    I blush and shrug.

"You're deep in his lane," Michael points out. I giggle in response before taking a look at the clock.

"Shit, it's already 2:50? How is time passing by so fast?" I ask.

"I don't know, I guess we're having a lot of fun," he smiles at me.

    "Yeah," I smile back.

"So, when did you become a fan?" he asks.

"Well after all the One Direction fans kept talking about you guys, I decided to listen to you, I thought the first song I've heard by you was She Looks So Perfect but it was Heart Break Girl. It was always on the radio and I loved it, I just didn't know who if was by. Then Tyler told me about you guys and i started listening to your music. When I found out Heart Break Girl was by you, I was like, 'Okay, I'm officially a fan now.' Then I watched your interviews, tried to learn more about you guys. I fell for what I could see, and meeting you guys today... this is a huge deal for me. I honestly will be heartbroken at the end of this, because I won't see you guys again."

"I love your music so much, you guys are funny, and cool. And I don't mean it in just a fan girl way. I respect you all so much as music artists, as people. So having this one on one meaningful conversation with someone who's gotten me through high school, someone that I look up to. It's an honor to even be sitting here with you. And of course you guys are pretty attractive." I throw in the last part just as a joke, though is very true.

Michael chuckles and hugs me.

"That means a lot, honestly. Knowing we've changed so many lives makes us really happy. Getting to hear the change we've done for you and how much we mean to you really means a lot," he smiles.

"Well I'm glad this conversation  means a lot to the both of us," I smile.

"MY TURN!" we hear Luke yell.

"WE GOT TWO MORE MINUTES," Michael yells back.

I guess it's almost Luke hour.

"Wanna hit the snack table?"Micheal asks me.
