A silent curse left his mouth but soon he noticed that Loki was still there. He has ripped out the IV and now sat in one of the corners, hugging his knees and staring at the wall in front of him.
"Um... Brother? I... brought you a blanket." As he saw that the apathetic Loki didn't answer he sighed and walked over to him, sitting next to him and covering both of them with the blanket. As Loki felt the warmth of the other man he closed his eyes and rested his head on the shoulder of his big brother. Silent tears soaked Thor's shirt, but the older one didn't care.
"It's not very comfortable here on the ground. Mind if we go back to your bed?" Finally Loki looked up and his dull eyes seemed to look through Thor. But then he shook his head.
"No? You want to stay here?"
Again Loki shook his head, and whispered with a raw voice "I don't like this room."
The God of thunder stroke his brother's hair and nodded. "Okay, I think you will like the living room more." So the taller one picked the other up and carried him, just like a few hours ago, in bridal style through the Avengers Tower.
Darkness surrounded them and only Loki's shallow breath disturbed the silence. As they passed Tony's bedroom they could hear quiet music coming from the other side of the door. "Seems like Mr. Stark can't sleep as well", Thor whispered.
While they walked Loki clawed himself into the shirt of his brother, as if he was afraid he would just let him fall and leave him.
With a hint of a smile Thor looked down at his sibling.
He looked somehow cute, especially since he was barely awake and visibly focused on not falling asleep again.

Finally they arrived at the living room and Thor laid Loki down on the large couch. Then he laid himself next to him and under the warm blanket the younger one curled up at his brother's chest, burying his face in the soft fabric that covered Thor's muscular chest.

Tony hadn't slept very well last night. The thought of having his enemy just a few rooms next to him wasn't very comfortable. The whole time he asked himself if Loki was really hurt. Maybe this was just another one of his illusions?
Around seven o'clock he decided to get up and eat something. So he left his room rubbing his hurting temples and walked to the hallway. As he saw the door to the hospital room he decided to first look after their "guest" before breakfast.
With every step that brought him closer to the door a subconscious fear in him grew. And it didn't help that after opening the door, he found the bed empty.
"Fuck!", he cursed, and instantly the playboy was as awake as possible.
"Jarvis? Is Loki still in the tower?"
After a second the voice of the AI answered: "Yes, sir. Mr. Laufeyson appears to be in the living room at the moment."
Shaking Tony ran to the said room, imagining the worst scenarios. But then he entered the living room, out of breath, and couldn't believe his eyes.

"Are you alright, Mr. Stark?", Thor asked whispering, trying to not wake his brother up. Tony stared at the two and couldn't help but laughed.
Loki has wrapped his arms around his brother in a way Thor would surely wake him up if he got up. Tony asked between quiet laughing: "How long are you like this?"
Thor slowly shrugged his shoulders and the sleeping man sighed and turned around, taking his thin arms away from the older man. Relieved the thunderer got up and stretched his tired limbs.

"I wouldn't recommend sleeping with your brother again", Tony whispered grinning, but Thor simply answered: "It was worth it."
