It was another crazy day at work. Throwing your bag onto the table, you couldn't help but slump down on the couch, happy that you finally got to rest.

You closed your eyes as you thought about your day. Everybody has their own rough days, and today was no exception for you. Your workplace was very understaffed, and of course, you had to take on more work than you wanted to.

You sighed as you slumped back further into the couch, eyes starting to feel heavy. Your boyfriend wasn't going to be back until later, so it was okay to take a nap, right?

You startled awake instead once you heard a noise in the same room as you. Eyes shooting open, you looked at the sudden intruder.

"Ah, sorry," Todoroki apologized, "I didn't mean to wake you."

"Shouto?" You questioned and then relaxed back down. "You surprised me! When did you get back?"

"I was here before you came in, but you walked right past me." His tone was sympathetic. "You looked very tired, so I didn't say anything."

Your cheeks burned in embarrassment. "I can't believe I didn't notice you. I'm sorry."

"No need to apologize," he said as he came over to take a seat next to you. "Did you have a rough day at work?"

"How'd you guess?" You smiled cheekily. "It's not as physically demanding as your job, though, so I really shouldn't complain."

"Every job has its own ups and downs," he commented. He looked concerned for you, and you wondered how long had it been since you two have had a conversation like this. With the demands of his job as a hero, you rarely saw him anymore besides his occasional slips into bed late at night. "You're allowed to complain as much as you'd like. I'm here to listen."

"Thanks, Shouto," you replied and then rested your head on his shoulder. You had missed him a lot, and it had been a while since you two had been this close. "I'm just so tired of my job, but it's not like I can quit it any time I want."

"You can always ask for less hours," he responded. "Besides, if it's money you're worried about, I'm making quite enough to support the both of us."

"No, no, it's okay," you quickly refused and then glanced around the expensive apartment you two currently shared. You had all the luxuries you needed, and you'd rather keep busy than stay at home to do nothing all day. Although your previous dream of having a sugar daddy when you were younger was quite tempting, you'd rather not take advantage of him. "You've already done more than enough for me, and I really appreciate all of it."

He sighed but nevertheless gave you a small smile. "I suppose if that's how you feel, but let me know if there's anything you want or need."

"I will," you hummed out. "Anyways, I didn't think you'd be home so soon. You usually get back late at night."

"I asked to leave early so I can be with you," he told you and you felt your heart rate quicken. "I heard that it was Valentine's Day today, and a lot of couples celebrate it by being together."

You couldn't help but let out a smile at that. He was always considerate of you despite having a lot of work. You weren't expecting much for this day, as you understood his circumstances, but you were still very happy regardless. "What do you want to do tonight then?"

"Anything that you want to do," he replied.

You giggled softly before you intertwined your fingers with his. "I just want to be with you, Shouto."
