Another day with you (Stanlon)

Getting ready

Mikes POV

I look into the bathroom mirror.
I'm wearing the nicest clothes I own, I really want to look nice for Stanley.

I'm wearing a white plain shirt that I cleaned last night, blue jeans, and black converse.

It's not much but it'll work.

"Mike!" My dad yells from the living room. (In the IT book his parents are still alive)

"Ya dad!" I call back. "Where ya going off to?" He asks. "Me and Stanley are seeing a movie" I say giving myself one more look in the mirror.

"Stanley? Do I know him" he asks.
I walk into the same room as my dad, he's laying down on the couch his head propped up with a pillow.

"Not sure daddy" I say smiling. "Okay son" He says turning back to the TV.

I have 25 minutes before I have to pick Stan up so I gotta pass the time.

"Is he in any way like that Richard boy?" He asks laughing. "No, not really" I say. "Is he handsome?" My dad questions wiggling his eye brows.

"Very" i say looking out the window and at the barn.

"Well I hope you two boys have fun, not to much fun" he says pointing at me. I roll my eyes then get up. "Don't you worry about that daddy, he's just a friend" I say.

I say goodbye to my dad then head out the door. I get on my bike and start down the dirt road.

As I pass by bowers farm I see him and victor playing around with guns. I peddle faster so they don't see me and decide to shoot me or something.

I make it off the dirt road and start my way to stans house. I ride down pass the ice-cream shop where I see eddie and Richie sharing a sugar cone. I smile to myself and keep peddling.

Finally I get to his house. I knock on the door and mr uris answers.

"Hello mike, Stanley's up stairs getting ready" he says moving out of the way so I can come in. I smile at him the run down stairs to Stans room.

I knock ones then open the door.

Stans sitting on his bed with headphones on. I can here the bird song playing.

Stan looks up at me, his lips form a small grin as he takes off his headphones. "Hi mike" he says.

"Hi stan" i say walking over to him.

He's wearing the bird shirt I got him for Christmas. It's blue with little birds all over. It's tucked neatly into blue jeans.

"You look amazing" I say sitting on his bed. I see a light pink creep onto his cheeks. "You do too" he says playing with his hair.

"Well, we better get going" I say standing up. Stan nods then follows my actions.

We both walk up the stairs and to the front door. "Bye dad!!!" Stan calls. "Bye Stanley" mr uris calls back.

We both get on our bikes and head to the Aladdin theatre.
