Evin finally got them near the outside of the city but there was a huge line of cars along the roads leading out of the city, this told Evin they were trapped with one way in, back the way they came. He saw the old subway station and turned to them pointing over to the subway ''No.'' Evin stared at him ''That place is infested, I'm not bringing Mike down there.'' Evin stared at him knowing there wasn't another option, with the horses that was, even with the horses down in the subway they'd be difficult to have but, still do-able. Evin groaned and looked around before getting off the horse and ran over to the cars climbing on top of them, Evin the pointed beyond the car's or the subway, Andrew knew that one way was with a ride and the other was on foot. Evin then gestured back the way they came, with the truck and guards.
Andrew gave in ''Fine, but if we get bit, your responsible.'' Andrew said, Evin hopped down and ran back to them getting on and lead them down the step's into the subway, he knew that they would probably lose the horses down here anyways, but this would take them across the city undetected. He got off and looked ahead but couldn't see anything, he looked to Andrew before walking over and took the flashlight from his pack and went back shinning it into the darkness seeing nothing dangerous so he lead the horse through the small gates before getting back on, Andrew didn't get off his horse, Evin got on and they kept moving while Evin shinned a light ahead of them ''Are we really trusting him? He hasn't even said a word to us this whole time?'' Mike whispered and looked around holding onto Andrew tightly ''He's not killing us and he's killing those stupid guards, yes, I trust him.'' Andrew whispered back ''Keep your leg's up and don't let go of me.'' Mike brought his leg's up, crossing them and hugged Andrew tightly.
Evin stopped and jumped off looking back at them telling them to stay back by holding his hand up to them. He turned and crouched moving over to the zombies he stabbed three before the fourth and fifth saw him, he pulled his axe out and swung taking care of them both in no time, he then returned looking down the hall the way they were going and got up before continuing. They got to a grate cutting them off from the rest of the subway, Evin got off and looked around inside before one hit the grate reaching through for Evin but he just stared at it, having the light in it's face, he looked past it seeing more inside, lot's more. More then he could take care of, he turned around looking back down where they were coming from seeing another way so he got back on the horse and turned it around heading back, Andrew looked to the grate seeing the problem and followed Evin.
Evin turned left from where they were and shinned the light seeing five more zombies, he was surprised there weren't more, he hopped off the horse and took his axe out taking care of them, he turned and one had grabbed his leg causing him to fall, it climbed onto him and got his knife out letting it bite into his left arm as he stabbed it in the head. He pushed it off and pulled his sleeve down getting back on the horse, he was lucky Andrew didn't come over when hearing him drop the axe that he had grabbed before leaving. There were escalators leading deeper into the subway so they took them, the horses did well on these considering it was just like stairs. When they reached the bottom Evin saw more zombies, he turned to see if there was an easier way through them but this was the only way to go. He got off and walked back giving the horse to Andrew before walking over with his axe out and swung up taking out the first one he saw before going in more, three more after the second two. Then another four.
He reached an area where there was an up and down section, he looked over the large circle in the middle of this platform and saw the tracks with a wreaked train, he took his knife out and stabbed a zombie that had come from the side, he kicked the guy away getting his knife back seeing how many zombies were down there, he looked to the side seeing escalators leading up a level and walked back, he got onto his horse and nodded for them to follow him, he lead them around the stores and away from the huge circle and up the escalators to the far right. At the top of these Evin saw there way out, wasn't very long but he knew they were probably in a better position now. They went up and reached outside, Evin looked around before jumping off the horse which was scared off by a gun shot, Evin ran over staying low and ducked behind a concrete barricade, Andrew stopped the horse from leaving the subway station.
''Come out!'' the guy yelled, Evin looked around before taking his new backpack off and looked through it finding a grenade, he pulled the pin out and tossed it over to where the guy was hiding, behind a wreaked car across the street and hid again. He counted a bit before hearing it explode, he peeked over seeing the now flaming car, the moss and vines must've been lightened in the explosion. Andrew walked the horse out with his brother on the back of the horse, he looked around before seeing Evin's arm, he took his pistol out ''You're bit.'' Evin paused and looked down at his arm seeing his sleeve was up a bit and the blood was running down his arm. He smiled chuckling a bit ''I'm immune.'' he said finally speaking, his voice raspy and harsh.
