Night came by fast, it was now pitch black outside giving the three a prime opportunity to leave their hiding spot in the rock, they stayed low, in the bushes before reaching a clearing, once there they made a run for it, passing through the large field. Once on the other side Evin stopped them seeing a bear trap on the ground covered in leafs ''Watch your step.'' he cautioned before picking up a stick and tossed it to the trap setting it off seeing how sensitive it was. They didn't pick up their feet while they walked, Andrew stopped seeing two more ahead and crouched down letting Mike jump up on his back, Andrew would rather give his little eleven year old brother a piggy back ride, then risk him losing a foot to a bear trap. They moved the leaf's around with their feet as they moved being very careful about where they were stepping. Evin was walking a head of them in case some runners were thinking of jumping out at them.

They finally made it to another clearing before seeing a road off in the distance, Evin looked back while Andrew checked the ground around him before putting Mike down, they then walked over to the road calmly, Evin looked back once in a while to make sure they weren't being followed until they reached the road ''We need some kind of building.'' Evin informed looking around ''We'll find somewhere.'' Andrew said, sounding very optimistic. Evin smiled and turned following the two down the road, they still kept their eye's open for the large group they ran into in the woods ''Hey, maybe we could go to an island?'' Mike stated looking up to Andrew ''An island? Why would you wanna live on an island?'' Andrew asked smiling while looking around ''It's secure, it's safe, and when you kill all the zombie's on the island they won't come back.'' Mike explained, Evin smiled ''Kid has a point.'' Andrew turned looking at him then looked down at Mike ''Alright, we can head towards the coast.'' Mike smiled a lot and held Andrew's hand.

The further they walked down the road Evin could see a large building, next to other building's going down the road ''We can stay in that building for the night, maybe all winter.'' Andrew shook his head ''Tonight, we're still to close to that group.'' Andrew stated looking around still. They reached the building and Evin went inside while Andrew stayed outside with Mike, Evin walked around killing some walkers inside, he headed upstairs the two story building clearing the second floor before moving the bodies to one room and shut it before walking outside seeing Mike run inside ''There's three runners outside!'' Evin took his knife out and ran to the door's pushing them open seeing Andrew being pinned to the road, he turned fast and killed on of them before running over jumping over one that Andrew had already killed and stabbed the one pinning him to the ground before pulling it off.

Andrew backed up while Evin looked over at him ''You bit?'' he asked, Andrew was frozen, staring at the road, Evin walked over and crouched down to his level ''Hey.'' Andrew looked at him ''Were. You. Bitten?'' he asked, Andrew slowly shook his head before it turned into a normal shaking and he looked down before getting up with Evin, the two then went inside and Mike ran over hugging Andrew who hugged back, the three then headed upstairs. Evin pushed a door open and let them go inside, the first room was a living room with two room's to the side and a kitchen in the far corner, Evin shut the door once they were in and locked the door turning taking his bag off walking over to the couch and dropped it, Andrew went into one of the room's looking around seeing two sleeping bags in the corner, he went over taking them and brought them out seeing Mike looking at a small bookshelf.

Andrew dropped the bags and went over to him ''You wanna take a book?'' Evin looked over after sitting down on the couch ''Nah, it's ok.'' Andrew smiled seeing him looking at a certain book and grabbed it giving it to him ''It's fine, it's just one book.'' Andrew stated and went over setting up the sleeping bags. Mike smiled a bit looking down at the book and went over putting it into his bag before setting up the second sleeping bag for himself, Evin looked at the two before looking down at his hands, they were covered in a light blanket of dirt and a bit of blood, obvious cut's scattered his hands leading up his arms' which were still wrapped up for no reason. 

Andrew soon joined Evin sitting next to him while Mike took out a small recorder and put old headphones on, being held together by a couple strips of duct tape ''Found that old thing in a store outside that city.'' Evin looked over seeing the recorder while Mike laid down and turned away from them ''If something happens to me can you bring him to an island?'' Evin looked at him ''Nothing will happen to you.'' he stated, Andrew grabbed his arm and Evin looked at his hand before looking up to Andrew ''If, Evin... If.'' Evin stared at him worried that something was wrong but looked down.

He sighed before nodding ''I will.'' he stated, Andrew nodded and got up going over to the sleeping bag before sitting down and looked over to Evin before rolling over and laid down. Evin looked over at them before looking forward ''You let them die.'' Evin looked up seeing her, standing there in the darkness, he looked over to the two before looking down ''Just gonna ignore me now?'' Evin laid down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling pulling the blanket off the bad of the couch ''You can't ignore me forever.'' Evin raised his hand and pointed his middle finger up before letting it rest on his stomach.
