"Well, are you coming or not? Cause I'm not gonna wait forever for you."

Nathan could open his mouth to respond.

No combination of words in the English language could even begin to unload the clutter in his head.

He looked at Sean with an unmatched intensity, as he desperately tried to process the information that was shooting back at him.

He had tried to deny it for so long; to ignore the facts. There was always another reason, there had to be.

It was obvious that Sean didn't mean to take the money from his house, but there was just no other solution in the panic.

The fire in Nathan's garden wasn't actually supposed to tear through the fence, he was just trying to help.

If Josh hadn't brought up the car - which he knows how Sean feels about it - he wouldn't have had his wrist broken.

Sean had a lot on his mind when setting up the fireworks display, if he was fully focused, he wouldn't have mixed up the wires. It was just the pure coincidence And had to be the one firing - them having an argument just before - and scarring half of his body.

Nathan could no longer be ignorant to the obvious. He struggled to pinpoint when exactly it happened.

Was it when he was scared to walk and took Mandy's car?

Was it when Tyler's body became embellished with bruises and blood after he lost a bet?

Or could it have been when Sean "warmed Dan's neck" and didn't stop even when Dan begged and pleaded to.

When the hands fighting the arms lost grip.

When the eyes rolled back, and only when his oxygen deprived body slipped from his grasp grasp and slumped on the ground.

The man in front of Nathan had brown hair, with curls that could only be replicated by the stars. Green irises in almond shaped eyes, and freckles that have been prominent all their lives. But this man wasn't Sean.

And it will never be again.
