He heard before he could see.
It's strange, hearing silence. There's nothing; but then there's silence. he could hear the wind blowing, the clock ticking, the random breaths of people around him.
And silence.
The boy knew he could move. He was lying down, he knew this because he could feel the cold hard floor beneath his head; supporting his body which was somehow on the floor. He tried to at least move his leg, but he held his breath; preparing himself for any impending pain that could come with it.
The leg moved with ease. He sighed with a breath of relief. He moved his arm in celebration, but a sharp pain through him off. He gasped and groaned at the pain, too quickly to comprehend the surrounding and the fact that he might have had to be silent. He was in pain, but he didn't feel he was to break the peaceful equilibrium around him. He turned to see if there was any damage in his arm that led to that horrible, horrible pain; but the only thing that met his request was darkness.
He had something move, turn. The sound of footsteps growing louder as if moving closer to him. He felt his heart beating his ears and his cheeks burn. His senses went into overdrive; smell the faint scent of cake being baked in the distance, but he couldn't focus. The boy's thoughts were elsewhere.
The sound of footsteps.
Tap.
Tap.
Tap.
Getting louder and louder, closer and closer to him.

First one guys, what do you think??
So this is how it's going to work (I think). If you want to add to this story, either before or after. Write it and tag me in it if you can, a chapter. Then I'll edit this and add your username to this so people reading this can go to yours for the next part. Then add this message to the end of that part and so on.
This probably isn't going to work BUT I'LL BE DAMMED IF I DON'T TRY. ♡
