"Just give Jesse the flower Lukas! It's not that hard!"

Petra ruffled Lukas' blonde hair as he stared at the single red rose in his hand.

"It'll be easy!"

"What if he doesn't like me back!?"

Lukas looked at Petra, feeling worried and slightly annoyed. She smiled at him and then looked at Jesse.

He was chatting with Jack, she wasn't sure what they were talking about but from the occasional laughter coming from them both she assumed it was nothing serious.

"Petra, I can't! Besides, he's talking to someone else."

"Of course you can! Jack won't be there forever."

Lukas glared at her then sighed, looking at Jesse right as Jack walked away. He frowned.

"See! Jack's gone! This is your chance!"

He stayed there for a bit, feeling his face heat up slightly. Suddenly Petra pushed him forward.

"Go on!"

Lukas grumbled and flipped her off, Petra chuckling in return.

"Hey Lukas!"

He jumped and looked in front of him, big brown eyes staring at him.

"O-Oh, Hey Jesse! How are ya?"

"I'm good! Happy Valentine's day!"

"Y-Yeah..Happy Valentines day!"

Lukas admired Jesse for a bit as they stood in silence.

"Who's that for?"

He was pointing at the rose in Lukas' hand.

"O-Oh, it's uh.."

He took a deep breath and put on a smile.

"Its for you!"

Jesses stared at it for a bit before slowly taking it.

"Its really pretty!"

He looked up at the blonde with a grin and Lukas felt a bit breath taken, Jesse's eyes, his hair, everything. It all got to Lukas.

"Thank you Lukas!"

"Y-Yeah! No problem!"

They stood in silence again, staring at each other with awkward smiles. Then Lukas spoke.

"So! I was wondering if uhh..."

He looked at him nervously as he scratched the back of his head. Jesse stared back.

"Hm?"

He took a deep breath, clenching his fists and gripping onto some of his own hair.

"If you...wanted to go on a...date? Maybe?"

"A date?"

"Y-Yeah.."

Jesse looked dumbfounded, processing the question as he twirled the rose around in his hands.

Lukas frowned, biting his lip nervously and looking at his shoes. He started twisting the hair in his hand.

"I-Im sorry i-"

"No no its..."

The brunet took a step forward, gently taking a hand in his and staring into his ocean blue eyes.

"I'd uh...I'd love to date you.."

Lukas' grip loosened and he slowly let go of his hair.

"Wait...really?"

Jesse stayed silent for a moment, thinking, then nodded.

"Y-Yeah! I really like you Lukas."

He smiled.

Lukas stared in astonishment, then smiled back, feeling the happiest he ever felt.

"I like you to."
