"Hey, baby." My daddy said as he pushed open the door to my room. After spending some time with my grandparents, they finally decided to start preparing dinner for tonight, leaving me to play with my dolls. Daddy stepped into my room, closing the door behind him. I watched as he walked over to my bed and took a seat.

"You wanna have a tea party?" I said, running to my toy box, trying to pull out all the necessary equipment.

"I would love too." He said as he made his way to the table to take a seat in one of the chairs. I set all the items we needed on the table. When I finally looked at my dad. I couldn't help but laugh. His enormous body in my small little chairs had me cracking up. I loved how he and Lance were down to do whatever when it came to me. I loved being with my papa, but I missed my daddy even more. I passed him a plate, a spoon, and a teacup. I grabbed my teapot and started pouring. There wasn't anything inside, but that's where our imaginations came in.

"Ouch!" My dad yelped, pulling back his cup. I flinched back a little bit.

"You overflowed my cup, and the hot tea spilled on me." He said, setting down his cup and examining his finger. I sprung into action as I went to grab my doctor's kit. When I got back to him, I rubbed some ointment on his finger and wrapped a band-aid around, finishing it with a kiss to his finger.

"All better?" I said as I looked into his eyes. My dad lifted both of his hands, placing them on the sides of my face. He pulled me in closer, delivering a kiss to my forehead.

"Yeah, all better, but If you couldn't have made me better, would you have thought it was your fault?" He said as he pulled away from me and looked deep into my eyes.

"Yeah, because I was the one who made it overflow, causing it to spill on you." I said as I started playing with my fingers.

"Yeah, but sometimes life happens. Sometimes there are things that people can't fix, and it doesn't make them a bad person because they can't."

"I know." I said, looking down at the floor — my dad than picks me up, setting me on his lap.

"Like papa." I directed my attention from the floor to him immediately. I hope he wasn't going to tell me what I thought he was going to say to me. Before I moved back with daddy, I saw papa health declining drastically. He was always sick and weak. I even had to start kicking in around the house more. I knew something was wrong way before he told me.

"He went like mommy, huh?" I said as my voice cracked, getting straight to the point. My dad just nodded his head, and I broke down and started crying. My dad just held me tight in his arms, allowing me to let it all out.

"How she take it?" I said as I watched Dominic come down the stairs alone as I entered the front door, closing it behind me. He wasn't the one to show much emotion, but I know this was getting to him. I knew it was going to be hard to break the news to Allie. It hurt him to see her hurt. It beat all of us to see her hurt. She was only six, and she already lost two of the most influential people in her life.
