It would have been Jungkook's third Valentine's Day with Namjoon. This year, Jungkook was spending Valentine's Day alone. It made him think. The last time he had spent that day alone was when Taehyung was still dead, and when he still loved Taehyung.
He didn't like to think about that portion of his life. He liked to think of the happy things, but now, his happy memories have turned into sad memories. Whenever he thought of all the smiling, laughing, and fun things he would do with Namjoon, he would cry.
Jungkook hadn't been out of his house in two weeks. He quit his job because he couldn't stand to see Namjoon. He never answered the texts or calls from his friends. Yoongi came by a few times to apologize, and gave Jungkook his number if he ever wanted to talk, but Jungkook saved it and never did anything with it.
He was all alone on Valentine's Day.
The only thing that had kept him sane was baking. He would bake cupcakes, cookies, and cakes. It was therapeutic. He was glad Taehyung had suggested it because he didn't know where he would be without that simple suggestion.
Jungkook decided to make cookies. He made different colors of frosting and had all efferent kinds of sprinkles.
For the first time in a while, he smiled.
