Jungkook had sold his house. He had bought a small apartment, which Taehyung, Jimin, and Jin had recently visited. He invited them over because he had an idea.

"I want to get my life back together." He began. The others in the room took a moment to exchange glances.

"You? Having your life together?" Jimin joked.

"Yes, I'm aware it sounds crazy. Having my life together isn't really normally my thing. So I thought, why not solve my crazy life with a crazy idea?"

"This isn't going to end well." Taehyung commented.

"That's what you think. So, my idea, it's quite the project. Taehyung?"

"Yes."

"You know how the day that Namjoon THOUGHT that he had ruined my life you made cup cakes with me?"

"Yeah?"

"This gave me my idea. Baking is very therapeutic to me. It's fun, and it tastes good, which is always a plus. So, now my idea, I open a bakery."

"Just don't fall in love with any of your co-workers." commented Jin.

"Trust me, that's on the top of my list." Jungkook reassured. "Now! To the name! I was thinking, Jimin, drumroll please." Jimin proceeded to hit the table in front of him, and stopped after a few seconds.

"Kook's Kookies."

"Oh my god." Jin said immediately after. "That sounds very childish, but I support you."

"Thank you. That was the point. Children don't have nearly as much serious drama as older people have, and drama creates stress, and my bakery will be a stress free establishment. Another plus is that men who have their life together won't come into my bakery because it's childish, and I don't even have the smallest chance of falling in love with them."

"I think your perspective on love is slightly damaged." Jimin pointed out.

"At this point, that's all of us. You have no place to talk, you fell for an act."

"You did too."

"This is about my bakery, Jimin. I don't want to hear another word about my failure of a love life."

"You brought it up."

"No I didn't, I made a few subtle references."

"That's no better."

"I said not another word, Jimin."

"Kay."

"Good. Now, my goal for this bakery is to be happy and stress free. Maybe get a nice house, a relationship where the feelings are actually mutual, a colony of house plants, a cat, a Tesla maybe. I'm only looking forward, and I have hope. Yes, my expectations are high, but I feel like I can meet them."

In reality, Jungkook seriously doubted himself. His acting skills hadn't vanished after all of these years. He wanted have hope though. He had hope for hope, and it was the though that counted.
