Jimin's grandparents had always been religious, but he wasn't expecting this from them. They never forced their religion on him because he had said multiple times that it made him uncomfortable.

Jimin got a call from his grandmother one morning to come visit their place. She explained she had fun activities planned.

Jimin drove down the road on his way to his grandparent's house. The whole thing seemed off. Why would his grandmother not tell him what they were doing? Unfortunately, Jimin trusted her more than he should have, so he didn't ask questions.

When he pulled into the driveway, his grandparents were already standing outside. They didn't hesitate to get straight to the point.

"Jimin! It's so great to see you!" his grandmother smiled. "Are you doing well?"

"Yes, I am doing well." he responded because he was definitely doing better than others. He was also excited about how much closer he was getting with Taehyung, but he didn't want to mention that.

"Oh, really? I wasn't expecting that. Are you sure? I know that things in your life recently have been.. a little off."

"What do you mean?"

"It's just, the relationships you have with everyone around you isn't what I would consider ideal. I heard that you were still friends with that Jungkook guy!"

"Yeah, I am. I was actually about to one of the best men at his wedding, but it was called off for reasons that I don't think he'd want me to talk about."

"Oh, I think I know the reason."

"Oh, do you?"

"Yes, he's proven time and time again that he doesn't deserve love. He's hurt too many people and turned way too many people to his way of thinking. Jungkook is destructive and we think he's hurt you and that's why you're here."

"Oh.. Grandma?"

"Yes."

"Do you realize that everything with me and him happened eight almost nine years ago? He only stayed with me because he felt trapped, and we've talked about everything and we've both agreed to leave it behind us. Jungkook is an amazing person now, and his past relationship ending wasn't even his fault! He's going through a lot right now, and I really really don't appreciate you talking about him that way. Right now, he's one of the strongest people I know, so please, don't even think about talking about him like that because he doesn't deserve mistreatment from anymore people."

"Are you sure it wasn't his fault? Was his past relationship... with yet another man."

"Yes, what about it?"

"That's where he went wrong. You know those relationships always end terribly. That's another reason why we're so concerned for you. You don't want a wife, and you're hurting yourself by doing that."

"Grandma, I really don't want to have this conversation."

"But, Jimin, it's bad for you. We care about you. We don't want you to get hurt again."

"Cleary, you don't care about me because if you did, you would respect me, and the things that I believe in, and everything else about me that I can't control. I'm gonna leave now. Bye, Grandma."

"Bye, Jimin. I guess we'll just have to have your parents convince you instead."

"Trust me, my parent's beliefs will never align with yours."

"We'll see about that, Jimin. We'll see about that."
