"I'm sorry to bother you, " Yujin declares, smiling sheepishly as she addresses the dark-haired male before her, "but I'm not sure who this belongs to..."
She holds up a pair of ripped jeans, one that Hoseok easily recognizes as his own. It's funny though, because he doesn't remember wearing them recently, nor having put them in the laundry pile.
"Those are mine, " he tells her kindly, "you can just place them in my drawers."
With a bow that hides her irritated face from view, Yujin retreats.
It's been like this for the last few weeks now. She's tried everything to get closer to Hoseok, from spilling things, to asking unnecessary questions. She'd even "accidentally" ripped her uniform skirt, conveniently giving him a full view of her lacy underwear. The kind of underwear that she knows, as their maid, that Minji never wears.
But no matter what she tries Hoseok is polite and curt, but shows absolutely no interest.
At this rate, she isn't sure what else to try short of actually straight jumping his bones so to speak. But she'd heard from the company what happened to the last girl that tried that, granted it was apparently with one of the others, and can't afford for the same to happen to her.
Walking through the hall to Hoseok's room leads her past the room belonging to the one called Jimin. If the sounds coming out of that room are any indication, Minji must be inside. Fuming, she does her best to ignore the harlot's excessively loud moaning and the creaking of what she assumes to be the bed. Why does she need to be so greedy?
How can they all be so blind? There's no way that one woman is worth so much, no matter how pretty she might be.
And Yujin will admit that Minji is pretty. Stunning, even. Far more so than she could ever hope to be. Honestly, she might even hazard to say that the woman is prettier even than Sari. The heiress's beauty is groomed, manufactured even. But Minji seems to glow with this natural, wild kind of beauty, with very little to no effort on her part.
If she really thinks about it, Yujin doesn't think she's ever actually seen Minji really wear make up, and certainly she's never seen her dress in any of the fancy or expensive clothes that Sari so loves.
As she steps into Hoseok's room, Yujin tries to clear her thoughts. It won't do any good to dwell on her failures, or Minji's "redeeming" qualities. She can't afford to fail, knowing that her family is depending on her fills her with determination. She'll just have to try something else, and keep trying until it works.
She tucks the jeans away within Hoseok's ornate dresser drawers, sighing at the realization that she pulled them out for nothing. It was a stupid idea, really. What did she expect would happen? That he'd follow her to his room and fuck her senseless? Just like that?
Not one of her more brilliant ideas, that's for certain.
