"I think we should tell her the truth."
Namjoon, Yoongi, and Jimin all look at Hoseok as if he's lost his mind. Surrounded on all sides by the flames of hell, and the souls of the damned, the four incubi sit, waiting to speak with a mutual acquaintance.
"You mean the part where we're all insanely ancient Incubi, or the part about her past lives and our involvement in them?" Namjoon asks for clarification.
"All of it?" Hoseok replies uneasily.
Yoongi, of course, scoffs. "Yeah, 'cause I can totally see that going well."
"Yoongi's right, " Namjoon agrees. "I don't really think she'd take it so well. Most mortals don't really believe in demons anymore."
"So we show her our true forms, " Hoseok argues. "She'd definitely believe us then."
"Do you want her to be scared shitless of us?" Yoongi growls. "Because that's how we scare her shitless. Just saying."
"You've been awfully quiet Jimin, " Hoseok mutters, "why don't you tell us what you think?"
The grey haired incubus sighs, a sound barely heard over the tormented screams of the lost souls all about.
"To be honest, I don't like the way things stand either."
Hoseok opens his mouth excitedly, presumably to gloat, but Jimin holds his hand up before him in the universal signal for 'stop'.
"I'm not finished, " he says. "While I don't like it, I have to admit that Yoongi is right. Maybe given some time we could tell her the truth, but for now, don't you think that might be a little too much to spring on her?"
Hoseok doesn't seem to follow, if the look of confusion on his face is any indication.
"Jimin's right, " Namjoom sighs. "We only just managed to talk her into this strange relationship with all seven of us. If we drop our identities as demons into her lap too, there's no telling how she might respond."
Frustrated, Hoseok groans.
"Don't you guys have any faith in Minji?"
"It isn't about whether or not we have any faith in her Hoseok, " Yoongi retorts. "The times are different now, everything's different. And to be honest, it might be better that she never knows. If we tell her all of the truth, we'd have to tell her about the fact that every death she's ever experienced was because of us."
Jimin shakes his head.
"You know, I don't really think Minji would see it that way." He argues.
"No, " Yoongi concedes, "she probably wouldn't. But that doesn't change the fact that it's true."
Both Jimin and Hoseok look as if they would like to say more, but just then, their names are called by a rather feisty eyed demoness with a clipboard.
