Kaelynn's POV
I take one last look at the place I am supposed to abandon. You'd think it'd be hard or I'd be upset leaving the place I grew up but this place stopped meaning anything to me thirteen years ago. Plus I think it's best to start college at a new scene, this place has more bad memories than good anyway. I decide to make a tik tok to inform my followers of my move.
"Are you sure you're ok Lynn?" Adrian asks. He's basically my personal body guard/driver/pretty much anything I want him to be. He's also my best friend, well my only friend, I'm not exactly the social type. He's only two years older than me and we've grown extremely close over the years.
"Yeah. And could you just call me Kae like everyone else?" I roll my eyes at him knowing he'd still continue doing so. "And be like everyone else?! Why I never?!" I shake my head with a small smile at his childishness "Just drive Adrian" "Aye aye captain".
On The Plane
I sit by the window with my air pods in wanting to block out the rest of the world when Adrian stands to go use the bathroom and some random guy takes his seat without me noticing.
"Hi" he says trying to get my attention. I don't respond because well I can't hear him. I think he realizes that after trying a few times and resorts to tapping me.
"Hi" he says after he sees me taking out one of my air pods.
"Can I help you?"
"Yeah I'm Joseph. Nice to meet you-" he trails off waiting for me to fill in like a normal person would. "Kaelynn"
"So Kaelynn, pretty nice name. Totally random question here but are you on tik tok?" I look at him incredulously because [1] who makes friends on a plane? and [2] who just randomly asks people if they're on tik tok?
"As a matter of fact yes. I am on tik tok. Satisfied. Good, now go away" I huff out just really wanting to concentrate on my music. He stops talking thankfully and I get back to my music unconsciously singing out in habit

"Hey I have a friend who really likes that song. Cannibal by Kesha right?" I hear him this time due to the reduced volume and I hope Adrian gets back soon. "Ah. That's nice" I reply studying his face because he seems awfully familiar.
"Have I seen you anywhere before"
"I doubt it. I guess I just have one of those faces"
"Ok"
I end up giving him my tik tok @ cause why not, before Adrian comes back and Joseph moves back to his seat after being threatened by Adrian.
