What and why is veterinary? In layman's term, it is a medical field for animals or animal doctor. If you search it up on the internet 'the medical and surgical treatment of animals, especially domesticated animals'. You get the idea of what it is but why does it exist, we know animals can take care of themselves, they follow their instincts and natural habits and that they don't have to go to work or do homework they just have to survive. But these days as we are building skyscrapers, luxurious hotels, and many more facilities, nature is disappearing, food is becoming scarce and the landscape is changing for the animals, that's why we vet have to help them.
Why do you want to become a vet? Is it because you love animals, you have been with animals since childhood, concerned about the endangered species and species which may be next in line for the title 'Endangered' or maybe you just think 'there are many doctors for humans so why not become a vet'. Whatever the reason may be, this book will take you on a short journey of how to become a vet and a vet's responsibilities.
