Ommetaphobia or ommatophobia (from Greek ommeta meaning "eye") is the fear of eyes. Sufferers would not touch their eyes nor making eye contact.

I'm scared to look on someone's eyes....yes how Ironic when I also have eyes to look at but it's not just being scared because of the physical reasons but because I'm scared.....I'm scared to see the indifferent emotions, reasons and lies behind it.

I'm scared to see sadness behind those beautiful smile,I'm scared to see how broke they are behind those words..I'm fine and I'm scared to know the truth inside those eyes when they're lying.

As the sun goes down and napalm sky  display in my sight a question came out of nowhere.... Do I also hide under a mask?

"Care to share what your thinking?" A voice beside me spoke.

I look to that someone and smile....

"Nothing.... it's just.."

"Your phobia?" I just smile and nod.

"I'm just asking myself...why it should be eyes.... there are more scary things out there"

"Well eyes...eyes is a scary place too tho. You can see inside it some things some humans can't"

"Yes it is but..."

"No buts Yeonjun....I know you know how deep the eyes can bring you"

"Yeah ....I know...."

"But are you happy with me? I mean .... I only see sadness and loneliness behind your eyes.... it makes me thinks like ...I'm nothing"

I look at those deep eyes and chuckles.

"Humans only explored 5% of our Oceans that's why it's hard to think mermaid isn't real. Human eyes is just as deep as ocean that's why it's hard to believe those emotions you just see is the only emotions I felt" I said and hold the cold hand beside me....

"Yeah.... but what are those emotions then?"

" All of them has a short name ...It's..... LOVE"

I smile and feel the cold wind while the darkness spread...

"I-Im.. you're too cringey Yeonjun Stop it" I hear a chuckle and felt a slap in my shoulder...

"Why I'm just brighten up the mood"

I felt hands on my face and that cold hand just slowly pull me closer....

"Yeonjun...."

"Y-yeah...."

"Look at me"

I slowly look at those beautiful eyes I've ever imagined I will get to see.... it's held a galaxy inside it and that's makes it unique ..

"You're eyes is so deep like Ocean.... I feel like crying when looking at those and know in the deepest point.... It's not sadness but love...for me..."

" Now you're the one who is cringey" I laughed and turn around.

"Hey where are you going?!" I heard him ask...

"Somewhere wanna go with me Soobin?" I ask and offer my hands he just chuckle and hold my hand..

"I'm currently wheezing but I like it" he said that made both of us laugh...
