The Boy Who Stutters [YOONMIN]

Yoongi's eyes widened when he felt those plump lips against his own and it felt like time stopped for a moment. He didn't want to kiss back, he wanted to scream and yell at Jimin but he couldn't, instead he kissed him back.

It was quite crazy how Yoongi's hands automatically went up to cup Jimin's cheeks and how he pulled the boy closer like everything was fine between them went it was the polar opposite.

Yoongi was too good at cutting people out of his life but when it came to Park Jimin cutting him off was quite a challenge that he thought he was winning so far.

But he was wrong.

Jimin pulled away once he realised he was running out of breath.

"Let m-me talk. Please" Jimin sniffled as tears rolled down his cheeks that were red from staying out in the cold for so long.

Yoongi nodded, hesitantly.

"Taehyung i-isn't my boyfriend. A-and I'm not h-his boyfriend. Neither d-do I have feelings for him."

"But--"

"Shh, it's my time to t-alk" he murmured.

"But yes, I admit it. I a-admit that I slowly started to re-replace you with h-him and lie to you but baby, p-please believe me. I was only t-trying to be a good friend to Taehyung. His girlfriend of 2 y-years had been cheating on him for two months before h-he caught her red handed. I didn't realize that I was p-pushing you away or replacing you. I'm truly s-sorry. But Taehyung was a-a real mess and he didn't have much friends that would understand h-him. And I just, I needed to be with him...he was suicidal" he sniffled.

"There's n-nothing going on b-between us.  Please, please be-believe me" he whimpered, taking Yoongi's hands in his and kissing them.

"P-please don't ignore me Yoongi, I-I can't bear it anymore. You're such an im-important person to me and I-I just...I just didn't realize I was hurting you. I sh-should've told you the truth about Taehyung b-but it wasn't m-my place to spill out his personal information" he looked at Yoongi with tear filled eyes and his voice was cracking up.

"And everything hurts w-without you. I can't e-even open my eyes without you coming to my m-mind. I miss you and...and I want you b-back. I want my Min Yoongi back. Please" he bit his lip.

"I can prove to y-you that there's nothing going o-on between me and Taehyung. I-I can get down on my knees and beg for yo-your forgiveness. Just don't ignore me anymore. I can't bear i-it" he sobbed, body shaking as he did.

Yoongi stayed silent the whole time and he knew he couldn't do it anymore, he couldn't cut Jimin out of his life...he just couldn't.

And so he pulled the boy close and hugged him tight. "I missed you" he whispered softly. "And I'm sorry too...for ignoring you" he murmured, taking in Jimin's familiar sweet sent that he adored so much.

Jimin pulled back and cupped Yoongi's cheeks, pecking his lips.

"I love you" he whispered without a single stutter or hesitancy and from the look on Jimin's face and the honesty in his eyes Yoongi knew the boy was telling the truth.

"I love you so much. And I w-want you to be mine--"

"You're stealing my lines" Yoongi smiled making Jimin cry and giggle at the same time.

"I love you too" Yoongi whispered. "I love you so much that it hurt not to be with you. I honestly thought you were with Taehyung."

"But I'm no-not. I promise."

"I know."

"So what are w-we now?" Jimin asked softly, knowing that they didn't have anything official to begin with.

"We're two stupid teenagers in love" Yoongi replied, caressing Jimin's cheek.

"I'm sorry...for everything." Jimin whispered, closing his eyes and leaning into Yoongi's touch.

"I really thought you were leaving me for Taehyung. That day I saw you at the restaurant...I wanted to...I wanted to jump off a bridge" he muttered under his breath which made Jimin open his eyes and gasp.

"No...no. Never...I wouldn't let you do that" he whimpered.

Yoongi smiled, leaning close and planting a soft kiss on Jimin's forehead.

"You're my boyfriend now, got it? Only mine and mine to keep" Yoongi said, tapping Jimin's nose and Jimin nodded quickly.

"I'm all y-yours. To keep"

I know I updated about 45 mins ago buuuutttt... I ended up writing another chapter hehe. Hope y'all are liking the story and it's nearing the end too 😩♥️
