the moment byeongkwan felt the push, he knew he was doomed.

but what he didn't expect was the stranger to turn around right when he was pushed. red color covered his cheeks as his gaze locked on the floor. his body stiffened and he didn't move a muscle.

meanwhile the stranger just stood there, not knowing what to do. his hands somehow lended on byeongkwans shoulders, as their bodies pressed together. his eyes went wide with astonishment and a little tint of pink was present on his cheeks.

and chan? well, chan was watching the whole scene unravel in front of him in amusement. he really wished they have gotten popcorn or something because that would really fit in right now.

byeongkwan still couldn't move, and all he managed to do to seize the awkwardness was to look up. and when he did, he locked eyes with the stranger.

when they did so, both of their eyes flew to the moon in shock. they recognized each other very well.

"oh shit, so it really was you." byeongkwan said and that was when chan decided that he's had enough. he took kwan by his arm and pulled him out of sehyoons grip and bowed.

"we are very sorry for our childish behavior." he apologized and then looked at kwan, expecting him to do the same. instead, his friend just stood there, not sure what to do.

sehyoons eyes traveled between both of them. he couldn't say anything. his tongue was stuck in his mouth and wouldn't come out. so instead, he just shook it off with his hands and smiled at them awkwardly.

"thank you for shopping at our store. have a good day." the cashier said to him and smiled nicely. he just bowed to her without saying anything back. "the next one in line, please come up here."

without any words said, sehyoon walked out of the store as fast as he could, leaving the two guys behind. they quickly paid for the chicken and drinks they got and went out of the store as well.

"so...what was that?" chan asked after they have been silently walking for about 5 minutes.

byeongkwan signed before explaining his encounter with the stranger at the school infirmary. how the older woke him up, how his hand was bleeding and byeongkwan had to help him put bandages on it. how he left without even thanking him.

"wait so you're saying that's he just appeared in the infirmary while it was locked?" chan says and kwans eyes wide in realization. he hadn't thought of it that way. "shit you're right." he murmured.

"you should tell nurse wan about it."

he nods as they finally made their way to the park. the chicken was probably cold by now but the boys couldn't care less. when your hungry, you just don't care. you eat what you can get and survive on that.

"it's been 3 years." chan quietly whispers.

byeongkwan doesn't look up at him. he knows what the younger is saying.

"me and donghun will go visit them this weekend, you down?"

"hehe yes. haven't visited them in a good minute now." chan sheepishly smiles at the older and puts his hand over him.

byeongkwans life story isn't the sweetest. he's a high school student living with his older cousin. why? well that's a story for another time. what happened has happened and he's pretty content with his life right now. he has a roof over his head, money in his pocket, food in the fridge, and good friends by his side.

yes, everything was ok.
