So, what makes me think I should start writing this book?
Honestly, I don't know.
But I also know there are a lot of new writers on the platform who always seem to have a lot of questions and don't always know where to get the answers.
And for lack of sounding like a broken record, I decided to compile those inquiries into one place so that others, if they so choose, can refer back here at any time to see if their answers have been... well... answered.
So why do I think I may know what I'm talking about when it comes to writing stuff?
As far as Wattpad is concerned:
- I won a Watty in 2016, within my first year of being on Wattpad
- I was a Wattpad Ambassador between 2017 and 2020, working on both the Engagement and Outreach teams
- I've been writing for Paid Stories since 2019
- I am a Wattpad StarAnd if we're looking for beyond Wattpad credentials:
- The Empire Saga, my series which began with Watty-winning Two Thousand Years, has been picked up by The Parliament House in its entirety
- Lady Mutiny, which was on the Watty Longlist in 2018, is due to be published with Magnolia Indie in 2020
- [insert acquisition announcement that had yet to be made public here]
- I have also published in numerous anthologies and box sets which can currently be found on AmazonI hope that's enough to give me some knowledge in offering writing advice. And if not?
At least I can make it sound good!
