It had been a few days since Hinata had arrived to the city Hanji had described to them.
Their most recent titan incident had only turned out to be an unsettling combination of a titan trotting somwhere a few miles away, and Tsukishima walking briskly toward the group.
Levi talked with Hanji a few meters away from the boys when they all met up. Tsukishima assumed it was to update eachother on events that had taken place. Hinata, Kageyama, ans Tanaka gave it no thought. The three boys paraded in the valley of skin slicing grass. It wasn't until they had all made it safely inside the walls that Tsukishima spoke more than a few words.
"How the hell did you three dumbasses manage to make it to this point unharmed?" He asked, sounded more offended than anything else.
Hinata had taken notice to the fearful look reflecting through the taller boys brown eyes.
"What the hell do you mean 'dumbasses'?" Tanaka stepped closer to Tsukishima.
"Something bad happened, didnt it." Hinata inquired, eyes stuck on the ground below them.
Silence took over.
Tsukishima was afraid to answer. Saying would be admiting to himself that his only friend, Tadashi Yamaguchi, had been brutally slaughtered. Ripped apart right before Tsukishima's very eyes.
His hands clenched, the blood in his body leaped to every corner they could reach. The tall first year's hardened stare punctured Hinata's silky skin.
Tsunamis of cold blood collapsed with a single name.
"Tadashi."No amount of training could have prepared all the boys for this brutal world they had been tossed into. Their fragile minds cracked at every disfigured body they had seen, and had yet to see.
They all tried hard not to let it show as much as they felt it, the terror. Heart wrenching, stomach churning, throat strangling pain.Hey everyone who is enjoying this book! I was thinking of putting this on hold as the situation with COVID-19 worsens, and wanted to brighten more peoples day with my writing.
Now, if this story does brighten your day, takes your mind off things please please say so, i would like to keep writing it for you. However, I just thought that while people are sick and/or home away from many people they love and want to see, I should write stories that could make you happy.
This chapter is a lot shorter, sorry about that. But please let me know what you want.
Thank you all!-Mikey
