That was traumatic.

He sat with the emperor for half an hour and all they did was stare at each other with bone chilling intensity. He was pretty sure the red-headed guard, he now knows as Felix, was scarred for life.

He was escorted out of the palace and told that they would meet in the future for certain discussions on his heritage. Titan was sure that Claude was somehow testing him to see if he was like his father. But Felix said that Claude found him interesting and that Claude was a softy.

He was glad that the emperor didn't hear that. He was scary enough being indifferent, he could only imagine how terrifying  he would be when he was angry.

Titan was on his way out of the palace when he suddenly was jumped by a black dog like animal. He couldn't tell what kind of animal it was but it was cute.

'what in the world-' his thoughts were interrupted when a little girl ran to grab the little animal.

"raven!" the little girl yelled. She picked up the animal and then proceeded the ramble apologies.

"it's fine. It didn't hurt that much"

"are you sure?"

"yeah I'm okay-" his sentence was lost when their eyes met.

She had blue jewel eyes and platinum blonde hair. She was wearing a baby blue long-sleeved dress with brown tie up boots.

"wait...why do you have-" she began to say before they both saw raven eating the cakes Titan was holding before.

He sighed deeply at the amount of money that was just wasted. He walked to Raven and petted his head softly.

"it's fine I don't mind." he minded. He minded very much. Those were for his mom and he saved up for weeks to get those for her.

The girl seemed to notice his distress despite his indifferent facial expression. She walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"my name is Athy!" her smile brightened his mood slightly. He debated on telling her his full name, his nickname would probably be best. Just to be safe.

"Titan"

"wow your name is awesome!"

He blushed slightly at her compliment. He suspected that they were related somehow. The jewel eyes were a dead giveaway. But he couldn't sense any of the intimidating aura Claude produced from her.

But his magic...he could feel his magic on her...

It's as though Claude's magic was encasing her.

Sensing magic was something his mother taught him. You would have to attain some sixth sense to live where they lived. It was a necessity in order to survive.

"thanks"

Athy assumed he wasn't much of a talker, she wasn't new to that. He seemed nice enough and she felt bad for what raven did to his cakes. She could tell that behind that passive expression that he was probably upset so she would make it up to him.

"hey, come with me" she pulled his hand and they started to run towards a large field, behind it was a forest. When they reached the other side he saw a large green palace come into view. Raven was hot in pursuit of them.

When they reached the palace a few maids glanced at them before going back to what they were doing. Athy pulled him into a large room that looked like a kitchen. He looked around at all the appliances with curiosity, when she let go of his hand it mildly startled him. He was in such a daze that he forgot she was even there.
