It's been a month and today they're deciding if Justin is free, and if Bryce finally goes down.

I was sitting at a chair near the courtroom where Jessica and Bryce are defending and accusing themselves.

I take my phone out and saw a picture with Justin, after our Winter Formal. He was asleep and his head was on my chest, I had a grin on my face while my left hand played with his messy hair.

Jessica walks out and I stand up smiling, she gave me a look and shook her head. My smile fades away as I frown, wanting some answers of what happened.

"Later we'll talk. Justin audience is in ten." She whispers crossing her arms like she was protecting herself.

"Okay, if you don't want to talk and need space..." Her mom kisses my temple nodding.

"Don't worry." The three of them walked away leaving me confused. Probably Bryce didn't get the punishment he deserved.

"Your honor, Bryce Walker was released on bail within hours of his arrest, and Justin has been stranded in juvenile detention for almost a month." I look at the back of his head and my heart started to pound.

"I'm aware of the timeline."

"The related case is complete as of today. Justin's plea is in, the paperwork is done."

'I miss him so much!'

"Understood, Counselor, but as a minor, he has to be released in custody."

"We have been searching for Amber Foley for weeks, your honor. She's nowhere to be found." Of course she ran away, I just need to know how and why.

"Keep looking. Until then, he's remanded." I hear the gavel pounding and my heart dropped.

"Bailiff."

"Hang on, Justin. We're working on it." Justin looks at Mrs. Jensen and then to me.

I cover my face trying to hide my tears from him.

"I know. Thank you."

I looked around and see so many people here in black at Hannah's funeral. Mrs and Mr. Baker sat in each side of mine holding my hands.

I laid my head on Mrs. Baker's shoulder, she sighs and wipes a tear away looking at Hannah's photo.

The priest starts the ceremony and I take a deep breath controlling my nervousness. Mrs. Baker wanted me to go up there after, just to say hi to Hannah. I don't even know why she asked me that, even though I would've gone if she didn't asked me... it would be an honor to say hi and goodbye... Finally a goodbye to her.

"It does my heart good to see so many of Hannah's friends here today. Hannah has the biggest heart, which she so generously shared with all of us. So, please, be kind to each other." Mr. Baker starts his speech, I look at Clay and my heart broke seeing a little boy, who loved a girl so much, and that girl left our world in such a cruel way.

Mr. Baker walks away sitting next to me, indicating Mrs. Baker to go up there.

"She dreamed of going to New York to become a writer. I'm not sure when that dream began to feel impossible to her. Hannah was my dream. And now I get to dream for Hannah as well as for myself. And so do all of you. So, please, dream your dreams. And dream them for Hannah, and don't let anyone take them away from you. Don't ever let them go."
