Everyone was at the gym waiting for Courtney to say who is our body president this year, I'm actually pretty excited for Jessica.
Somehow I know she'll win, and make a huge difference since Marcus didn't do shit, of course to protect Bryce and himself.
"Finally, as your outgoing student body president, it is my honor to announce next year's president-elect... Jessica Davis!" Everybody claps their hands and some cheered.
She looks at me no understanding what's happening, guess she's lost or maybe she thinks it's a dream. She looks at Courtney and back to me.
"Go!" I push her to the microphone and she thanks everyone with a huge smile.
"I know my speech was... Well, people had different opinions on my speech. And yeah, the administration did talk to me about it, but the thing they were most upset about was the profanity. I was like, 'Seriously? That's what you heard?' Fuck that! I'm pissed off. I'm gonna be pissed off until things actually change. Until the predators and the rapists are gone for good."
I cringe hearing a girl yell Bryce's name, I hug myself feeling nauseous for staying at his place last night.
His mom was happy I'm helping him to be a better person and she was glad I was spending the night at their place. Justin called and texted me so many time, I've lost count.
I told Bryce no one should know I was spending the night there, I know I poked a wound, but it's for the best.
If Justin finds out I've spend at Bryce's and not at Jessica's, he'll kill me. Or probably Bryce. And probably I'm spending at Bryce's more days, his mom and him already made a schedule for me.
I'm spending almost everyday and it pisses me off.

I walk out of the double doors and saw Bryce's car, but no Bryce. My breathing got higher and my hands got sweaty 'Justin can't know! Jessica can't know!'.
My phone beeped and I saw his text, I frown when I got inside his car and waited for him to show up.
I look at my left when the door opened and closed with an undercover Bryce. I cover my mouth trying to hold a laugh when he looks at me.
"It's only to pick you up." I roll my eyes trying to see if anyone saw us.
"I have my car you know." He nods driving away.
"I know, but my mom wanted to talk to you about the days you're staying. I notice you didn't like it, so I told her you could only spend time with me two days, you'll chose the day and I'll be there." I smile with gratitude.
"Thank you." I play with the hem of my shirt.
"No problem." He smiles even though I can see the pain in his eyes.

"Where have you been?" I close the car door and swing my bag over my shoulder. "Practice ended two hours ago." I stand there looking at Bryce and his mother.
"Since when do you care what I do with my time?" He asks stuffing his chest irritated.
"I've always cared, Bryce. Now I need to pay more attention, don't I? You're not living with your father anymore." He scoffs.
"Yeah, I'm aware." He walks away leaving me just standing there, feeling like I'm a intruder. "And now you're living with yours."
"Yes, and if I'd ever spoken to him the way-" She takes a step forward and stop, thinking for a second. "You're on lockdown. You go to class, you go to practice, you come home."
