Background Information

- There is someone who is trying to kill Kris's parents, the King and Queen of Mythos from the Alicode Dimension.

- The portal system paperwork was one day away from being completed when the King and Queen fell into the portal.

- They can't come back because the original portal they used became unstable and fell in on itself.

- There is now a portal security system that tells who enter and exit the dimension. Kind of like a passport.

- Portal Regs act as a passport in Dimensions with security, you won't be left in without one. Portal Regs also help protect against the sometimes-harsh travel.

- Kris' parents are trying to make the council allow their son and family to travel to Mike's dimension.

- The doctors and nurses are nervous about the spread of disease and the health of the child and the family members. They are also worried about how traveling to a different dimension would affect the medicine.

- Some psychologists are worried about the effects being separated from his parents could do to the child.

- The other psychologists are worried about the mind of the parents and their rather abrupt arrival.

- The scientists want to see what technology could do to Kris' dimension.

- Everyone agrees that they are at a standstill.

- Mike would lose his job if he smuggled the kid over.

- This is the first time they have considered sending over medicine and other items to a different dimension.

- They are still at a disagreement today.

The Ezealeia Dimension (How I would Start that story)

Some thought the war was over, but it had only begun. The Ezealeia Dimension was one of the last realms to be shaken by the war between good and evil. Everything was at stake, one wrong move and all would be lost. Even now most of the kingdoms have fallen, for none had been prepared.

The kingdom Mythos was one of the last few still left standing and almost completely untouched from the war. It had been taken refugees, but something changed and now the refugees are being forced underground.

The King and Queen had accidentally fallen into a different dimension. The prince wasn't with them.

The King and Queen were eventually able to contact between the dimension.

Now the members of the kingdom are rushing to get their little prince out, for he is their last hope.

The head knight came forward and declared "I sir Rufus shall take the lad far far away. So, he could be safe."

King Louis replied "You may take the boy with your knights. But be careful and protect him."

"I will with my life." Came the reply.

"Now go!" Ordered King Louis.

"Alright, farewell!" Yelled Rufus as he headed out the door.

"Please keep our little boy safe." Whispered the king. The king's hologram flickered as his wife came to hug him.

"He will be." She whispered as she wrapped her arms around him.

Kris woke up with a start. "It's always that dream..." Muttered the five-year-old as he fell back into the bed.

Kris had fluffy dark brown hair that was well kept and brown eyes that brightened up with the sun.

"Kris! Kris! Are you alright?" Said a frantic Aunt Georgia.

"It was that dream again." Said Kris.

"Was anything different?" Aunt Georgia asked softly.

"No, it was the same." Replied Kris.

Aunt Georgia nodded in understanding and scooped Kris up into a hug.

"How 'bout I get you some hot chocolate?" Suggested Aunt Georgia.

"Yeah... I mean yes please." Replied Kris.

Aunt Georgia laughed lightly and ruffled his hair.

"I'll be back in a jiffy." Declared Aunt Georgia.

Dialogue Excerpt:

"Dad used to tell me stories when I was younger of how things used to be in the kingdoms. Before all this happened... I really enjoyed the story about the sharing of the of the constellations. There used to be this grand festival where people from all around the world, all fifteen kingdoms, just for the sole purpose of telling stories and sharing ideas. And even though the location changed each year, everyone looked forward to it. It must've been a sight to see. I think it certainly sounds that way. Anyway, one of the things that came out of that festival was the constellations that ended up being shared. You see just like in your world, people create stories, worlds seemingly out of nowhere and share them with each other. Constellations provide a common ground because a lot of us have the same ones. Some might end up having different names depending upon who you ask, but there's still a story to each one and I think that's what matters most. My favorites are the great wolf, the sleepy turtle, and the honorable shield." - Kris
