Chapter 9: Free from Nightmares... and Undyne

Michael POV

Do you know who Nightmare is? He's a Darker version of Nightmare Fredbear.

He's faster, stronger, and more brutal. He's basically two Nightmare Fredbears together.

Nightmare can invade you in your Dreams and turn them into Nightmares. He will give you the worst time of your life.

Waterfall

We were in a place called Waterfall after fighting Papyrus. We were glad that he didn't capture us, but this 'Undyne' person wouldn't be happy. I told Sans about my Nightmares and of course... Nightmare himself. He gave me these pills which he also took.

Hopefully I will be able to sleep peacefully.

Anyways we walked until we came upon some tall grass. We went to it, then stopped to voices. Two monsters talking. One you recognized as Papyrus.

"OH, D-DID I CAPTURE THEM? W-WELL... YOU SEE. WE MAY NOT HAVE TO CAPTURE THEM. WE C-CAN BE FRIENDS INSTEAD."

"Friends. Friends!? We can't be Friends with them Papyrus! They're Humans! And you know what we must do... Capture them. And if you can't do it, then I will! Now, get out of here!"

Papyrus walked away sadly as the monster sighed. We decided to move which got the monsters attention.

She walked over to the edge and summoned a blue spear in her hand, aiming it down at us, but she didn't know we were there.

She then waved it off as a monster as the spear faded and disappeared. She walked off into the darkness, disappearing.

When she was gone we decided to move on, but there was rustling in the grass. A monster... kid?

"Yo! Did you see the way she was starring at you? That. Was. Awesome! C'mon, let's go watch her beat up some bad guys!" The kid said. "Oh, and my names Monster Kid, but you can just call me kid for short."

Kid then ran off but tripped and fell. He got back up and ran off.

We continued walking through Snowdin until...

Frisk POV

*ring ring

Your phone rang as you pulled it out. It was from Papyrus.

"Hello?"

"HELLO HUMAN FRISK. IT IS I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS CALLING. NOW, ARE YOU WEARING A... MANLY BANDANA?" Papyrus asked.

You knew this call was coming because of all the timelines. But Michael doesn't know that, should he know? Nah, he shouldn't know. He can't know.

"Umm, yeah. I am wearing a Manly Bandana. Why do you ask?" I asked.

"OH, WELL I'M JUST CALLING FOR A FRIEND WHO SAW YOU." Papyrus said nervously.

"Oh, ok. Bye Papyrus."

"BYE HUMAN!"

I check the time as I watch Frisk and Michael walk along together. Whoever this Human is, it'll mess up the timeline. He cannot be here. He's not supposed to be here!

But, those Nightmares are here. Not sure where they came from, but they're after him. Especially Nightmare.

"I'll make sure he suffers..."
