Chapter 2:

3rd P.O.V~

Today is Monday. The day where Chaeyoung tries her best to avoid Mina and everyone else besides her friends. Dahyun and Tzuyu always sit with Chaeyoung at the rooftop but sometimes Chaeyoung just wants to eat alone so Dahyun and Tzuyu sit with Jihyo and Mina. Jihyo sometimes joins Chaeyoung for a while and goes back to Mina, knowing that she'll be sulky without her best friend by her side.

Chaeyoung is staring straight outside of the window, ignoring what the teacher is teaching the class. She knows that she's better than this, but she can't get over her angel. The girl who brought happiness back into her life. Chaeyoung sighs loudly, catching the attention of the class.

"Do you have something to say Chaeyoung?" The teacher said, scolding Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung just shook her head, some of the students were laughing and some were feeling bad for her.

Who knows what she's going through... Not even Dahyun and Tzuyu know about the situation that happened over the weekend.

Chaeyoung couldn't get her mind off of Sakura's proposal about helping her get back together with Mina. Chaeyoung would love to get back together with Mina no matter what. But what lies behind is what's stopping her from doing it, are the lingering questions in her head.

'Would Mina still want me?' 'Does she still think about me lovingly?' 'Does she still even love me after what happened?'

A tear escapes Chaeyoung's eyes as she relaxes by the edge at the rooftop.

"Hey Chaeyoung!" Someone greets her. Chaeyoung quickly wipes the tear away and turns around.

It's Sakura...

Chaeyoung waves her hand towards Sakura.

Sakura skips towards Chaeyoung and relaxes at the edge like Chaeyoung.

She closes her eyes and takes in the fresh air. "I see why you're always up here during Lunch." Sakura said and chuckles at the end of her sentence.

Chaeyoung writes something down and hands it to Sakura.

'So... About this Mina thing...'

Sakura immediately knew what Chaeyoung wanted to talk about.

"Yes! The Mina thing." Sakura said and laid her back against the railing. "Okay, so here's what you need to do tomorrow." Chaeyoung gave her a confused look.

"Just trust me on this." Sakura said as she looked at Chaeyoung.

It's the next day. It's the morning and Chaeyoung arrived at the gates of the school along with Tzuyu and Dahyun. Chaeyoung is nervous about what she has to do later on in the day. 'I got this... Just do what Sakura told you to.' She keeps on telling herself to calm her nerves.

Mina's P.O.V~

Yes. I know what you're thinking readers. Do I really hate that Son Chaeyoung girl? Yes. I hate her with all my guts. She just makes my blood boil...

I'm in the dance room with my friends Sakura, Seulgri, and Lisa. We're working on a dance for the school's fall festival that's coming up soon.

"Mina!" I turned around and saw Sakura jogging towards me. "Here, drink this." I grabbed it from her and dranked it. "Thanks." I told her and she just nod and smile. Weird.

Just at that moment, the door of the dance room opened. We all looked towards that direction and my blood started boiling.

Son Chaeyoung...

"Chaeyoung!" Sakura said and ran towards Chaeyoung. I looked around and saw Seulgri and Lisa walking towards the door with their stuff. "Wait, where are you guys going?" I asked them, feeling a bit betrayed. They're just leaving me with this asshole?

"We have to do a project, bye!" Lisa said and they both left quickly. My last hope was Sakura but she was already gone. So now I'm in this dance room alone with Chaeyoung!

I looked at her and she looked innocent and hesitant.

"What do you want?" I asked her, using a tone that scared her. She flinched. Seconds later, her eyes met mine. I don't know what this is, but my heart started beating fast. What the fuck is happening?

She started walking closer towards me with her hands behind her back. I started walking backwards, my back hitting the wall.

She handed me a note and gestured me to read it. Even though I hate her, I can't refuse for some reason.

I opened up the note.

'I know you hate me, It's okay. I said things I regret. I'm not sure you clearly remember the night we fought over something stupid that lead to this. What we have now... Mina... Do you even remember me as your girlfriend?'

I froze when I read the last part. G-girlfr-riend???

I looked at her and she looked back at me. Her eyes were filled with pain. 

"I'm sorry." Is what she said to me and then ran towards the door. She gave me a small smile.

That smile looked like it was filled with pain and sorrow.

I felt wetness on my cheeks. I raised my hand to feel my face and I was... Crying???

Why? How? When? What is this? 

I wiped my tears but they kept falling. Why do you have this affect on me all the sudden Son Chaeyoung???

After I calmed down, I looked back at the note and my heart was still racing.

I hate her... Why am I acting like this? Girlfriend? Is she being serious???

I gathered my stuff and walked home since it was the end of the day.

I got home and took a quick shower.

I did my homework, still thinking about her...

UGHH!!! I hate this...

Why are you in my mind? Why in this way? Why do little flashes appear of us laughing and smiling? Is this fake? Are these just illusions?

I laid down on my bed. I plugged in my headphones and played "Melting" from Twice. I love them! Their songs help me through my struggles.

I'm still thinking about you Son Chaeyoung... But differently??? I sigh.

Why now?
