Chapter 13:

3rd P.O.V~

The Festival is just about to start, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, and Sana are heading there from the dance studio. Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are already there preparing for the event.

"Put this over there guys! Come on!"

"Lucas, stop pushing the Freshmans. They're still newbies." Tzuyu said. Lucas rushed his fingers through his hair in frustration. "I just want this to be an amazing event before us seniors leave, you know?" He looked back at Tzuyu. Tzuyu gives off a small smile and nods. She leaves Lucas and walks back to the others.

"Woah, I didn't know you were friends with Lucas." Dahyun commented while helping out at the Bangtan Cafe. She's cousins with the owner, RM or Namjoon. They've known each other since they were young.

"I didn't know you knew anyone else beside us at all." Chaeyoung said and made Dahyun chuckle and Tzuyu give off a little pout. Dahyun gasped. "Tzuyu is pouting!? What happened to the cold and collected Tzuyu I knew?" Dahyun said in aegyo. Chaeyoung cringed and started putting things up, while Tzuyu just smacked Dahyun's shoulder. "That's more like Mina-Unnie now, don't you think?" Tzuyu said.

Dahyun sighs and holds her shoulder from the pain Tzuyu inflicted on her. "Yeah." They both look at Chaeyoung who's helping Jin move things around the stand. "But she's warming that heart. We need Michaeng back." Dahyun said. "Then let's make a plan." Tzuyu suggested. Dahyun quickly looks at Tzuyu. If she wasn't careful enough, she would have broken her neck. She hugs Tzuyu. "Tzuyu, you're a genius!"

"Get off my baby!" Sana says and clings onto Tzuyu, removing Dahyun. Dahyun and Sana pout. Tzuyu kissing Sana's lips, and Nayeon kissing her baby.

"Enough with the kissing, it's making me single." Chaeyoung says, having the Jeongmo couple laugh. "Girl, you have Mina, what you mean?" Jeongyeon commented, having Chaeyoung blush and the others laughing at her.

"We're not together though..." Chaeyoung trails off and looks down. Jeongyeon goes over to Chaeyoung and puts her arm over her. She pulls Chaeyoung into comfort. "Don't worry about it. I'm sure she'll come back." She pats Chaeyoung's head. They both remove themselves from the hug and head into their own directions.

Dahyun and Tzuyu catch up with their unnies to announce their killer plan for Michaeng.

~~ (The Festival)

"Welcome to the JYP Festival! Hope you enjoy the fun!" The MC announced while people were piling up the place. The School Meal Club was looking over the festival, making sure nothing was wrong.

Thank god people are starting to enjoy the Festival. Mina and her crew are preparing in the practice room which is off limits from the public. Chaeyoung decides to grab two pairs of strawberry milk and heads towards the Practice room. While Chaeyoung was walking there, she saw that Jae was looking for someone. Chaeyoung scoffs and decides to watch him from afar. She has a cap on so that'll at least cover her face.

Chaeyoung sees a guy drape his arm over Jae's shoulder. 'Young K?' Chaeyoung thought to herself. 'I thought they stopped being friends after Young K and Jae got into that fight.' She trailed off with her thoughts.

She sees them talking to one another, she goes up closer to hear what they're saying since she's kinda far away and there's people around them.

"You really going for this girl?" Young K asked Jae while looking around the place. Jae scoffs. "Of course I am! She's such a beauty, how can I not?" Jae says and walks with Young K. Chaeyoung feels anger run through her veins. 'Is that all he sees in her? What a dick.' Chaeyoung told herself.

Chaeyoung noticed that Jae and Young K were going towards the practice room that Mina was in. She followed them to see what was going to happen.

They reached the practice room. Jae stopped in front of the room, checking Mina out from the window. "I might as well just fuck her now. She's so hot when sweaty." Jae announced to Young K. Chaeyoung felt disgust run through her body. 'So all he wants from Mina is her body? He's still an asshole throughout these years.' Chaeyoung rolled her eyes and clenched on her strawberry milk cartons. She'll make sure Jae will get it.

Jae and Young K enter the practice room, Chaeyoung reaches the window and watches from afar. While they were talking, Jae seemed like he was hitting on Mina. Chaeyoung just scoffed out a laugh.

Mina's P.O.V~

"I was wondering if you can go on a walk with me after the performance." Jae said to me with a nervous tone. I was shocked. I knew he liked me but I didn't think he'd ask me out now. I felt kinda uncomfortable since he kept on trying to get close to me. "Um, I have to hang out with the girls after the performance Jae, sorry." I tried to say as nice as possible.

I don't know what it was, but I saw a glint of anger in his eyes. "Just for a couple of minutes Mina." It seems like he was begging now. His friend was just shaking his head in the back.

"If she says no, then it's a no. Back off." I turned around and it was Lisa. I gave Lisa a small smile as a 'Thank you'; she reciprocated. I turned back to Jae. He sighed and said "Maybe next time." and headed out the door with his friend.

I felt like a weight was lifted off of me when he left. Was I always this nervous? I mean, guys have asked me out before but... It was probably nothing. I shake a bit to get rid of my nerves and turn to look at the girls.

Before I could say anything, we heard the door open. When I looked back, it was Chaeyoung. I felt a burst of happiness when she walked it. A moment of relief. It seemed like the girls were happy that Chaeyoung walked in too.

I walked towards Chaeyoung, Chaeyoung handed me a strawberry milk. I gave her a gummy smile and thanked her. She reciprocated with a dimple smile. I hear the girls in the back hooting for us. I see Chaeyoung hiding her blushing face. Aw, she's so cute. Without thinking, I took off her cap and pinched her cheeks and made a ducky face to annoy her. She just lets out a laugh.

"You guys look like a couple." Seulgi commented. "Stop." I said in a whining tone. Was that aegyo? I hope not.

After all of this teasing and everything, Chaeyoung had to go.

What is this weird feeling? I'm not actually falling for the dork right?

Right?
