Ash's POV

I sat on my railing of my upstairs. I played my guitar a bit, when I heard my door open.

"Ash? Ash you here?" I heard from downstairs.

"Up here."

"You coming? I'm going to a party and I need a date."

"Lemme get down." I hopped down from my railing and landed on the floor.

I slid my shoes on.

"Shall we?"

"We shall."

We walked out of my apartment.

"Where is this party at?"

"One of the local clubs. Why?"

"Just wondering."

We walked into the parking garage, then getting int Colby's car.

"I'm going to get wasted tonight. I just know it."

"Already making predictions? Damn. Don't get too wasted." Colby said with a laugh.

"I can't make any promises."

We parked and walked up to the bouncer.

"Colby and Ash?"

"That's us."

"Right. Go on inside."

We walked inside and the person I least expected to be there was here.

Alex....

"What the hell are you doing here, Alex?"

"Ash!"

He hugged me. I pushed him off.

"Why are you here?!"

"Please take me back! I've changed!"

"Oh hell no! You were the one that nearly got me killed! You broke into my old apartment, robbed me, and to top it all off, CHEATED ON ME!"

We yelled at each other, until it turned physical.

"We are taking this outside!"

Everyone followed us outside, where Alex and I were going to fight.

I ran at full sprint at Alex, kicking him right in the chest, knocking the wind out of him.

"WHO'S STRONGER NOW, BITCH?!" I shouted at him.

"Hehehe." I laughed. I went psycho.

"COME HERE BITCH!"

We ran out of the crowd of people. I chased Alex.

Alex and I fought.

We stopped when I saw him crying.

"This is my revenge, asshole." I walked off and back to the party.

I walked back inside, and grabbed a beer. I sat alone at the bar, and contemplated my life. Someone sat next to me and put their arm around my shoulders. I looked up. It was Colby.

"What?"

"You and your lonely ass needed some company."

"Says who?"

"Says me. Now c'mon."  He pulled me out of my chair and onto the dance floor.

We started dancing to the song 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran.

It felt like time stopped as we danced.  Something inside me clicked. I hadn't fallen in love since Alex hurt me like he did. I've only felt one core emotion.
