Ash's POV

I laid in bed with a pretty high fever.  I didn't feel like eating even thought I hadn't had anything to eat.

"Hey...You doing any better?"

"Not really. But how was filming with the boys?"

"It was fun. You sure you aren't sick?"

"Oh please. I would know if I was sick. I'll go to the doctor tommorow and see what's up."

"Okay. Remember Ari has a concert tommorow night."

"I know. We have two musicians in the house."

"I'll be back later. I gotta go get Ari."

"Bye hun."

The next day.

I went to the doctors and while I was there I felt really dizzy.

"Ok Ashlyn......I have some bad news..."

"What is it?"

"You have cancer."

"Oh my god.....How do I tell my family?"

"Show them this. It's the EEG of your brain. It shows the cancer and where it is."

"Thank you.."

I went home that day.

"Hey mom."

"Hi Ari. Where's your father?"

"In the bedroom."

"Ok." I walked into our shared room.

"Ari told me you in here- YAH! PUT SOME DAMN PANTS ON!"

"You've seen me like this before, its fine."

"We have a child out there. Pants now."

"Fine mom."

"Anyways I have to tell you something."

"Yeah?"

".......I have brain cancer.."

"What?"

"I'm sorry.."

3 months later.

The cancer grew and now I'm in the hospital. This would be the end for me..

He spent everyday with me. Even the days I had therapy. The therapy wasn't working.

"You know I love you."

"Yes I do."

"We sound like an old couple." I said laughing.

"Yeah, we do."

I grabbed my acoustic guitar and played a song called 'Early Evening Melody'.

"You still got it after all this time."

"Even if death wants me now, I still do."

I set my guitar down and crawled to the end of my bed and kissed him.

"I'm gonna miss you. Ah!" I felt a really bad, almost migraine like pain in my head. The monitor went crazy.

"Sir you need to leave now!"

"No! Shes my wife! I can't leave her!"

30 minutes later

Colby's POV

I sat outside her room, when a nurse came out.

"Is she ok?"

"I'm very sorry for your loss sir. The cancer spread to her brain stem and it caused her brain to stop working."

"No.....Why!" 

This day was the worst day I could have ever experienced.

The girl I married and had a kid with, is now dead. How would I tell the others this?

Back at their apartment.

I sat on the couch. I was upset by this news.

I hadn't told Ari yet. I knew she was close to her mom and her heart would break if I said anything, but I had too.

"Ari, come here.."

"Yes dad?"

"Earlier today, your mother died.."

"W-what..." She started crying.

"Ari I'm so-"

"I HATE YOU DAD!" She ran off to her room.

"ARI WAIT!"

She hates me now....

A few weeks later.

Arianna's POV.

I walked into the bathroom and the door was locked.

"Dad you in there? Dad? Answer me!"

I picked the lock on the door and I saw my dad. A bloody, lifeless mess.

"DAD! WHY?!" I saw his phone on the counter. I grabbed it and called Sam.

Sam's POV

My phone rang and I saw it was Colby calling me.

"Hey man."

"S-Sam come over now."

It was Arianna. It was odd that she was calling me from Colby's phone.

"What's going on? Where's Colby?"

She explained to me what happened and I jumped off the couch and ran out of my apartment.

Thank god his door was unlocked. I ran inside Colby's apartment.

"Ari where are you?!"

I heard crying in the bathroom. When I looked inside my heart shattered.

My best friend since highschool, was now dead in front of me.

"Ari...You're going to live with Kat and I since....your dad and my best friend...is dead.."

This was the worst day for the both of us.

Arianna went on to inherit her mom's music company. Sam and Kat got married, and the other friends went their separate ways, but still kept in touch.

As for Ash and Colby? They watched over their friends and families grow and blossom.
