Ronnie's P.O.V

"Watch out!"

I turn to watch the flash of red and yellow when suddenly, I gasped as I felt the cold hardness of a knife pierce my upper right thigh. I looked up into the eyes of the ugly guy in front of me as he plunged it deeper.

I touched my leg and looked down at the already forming puddle of blood that dripped beneath me and the red liquid as it spread down the leg of my jeans. These were my favorite jeans, and now they were as good as gone. Now I was pissed.

He was going to 'effing pay.

I clenched my fist and punch him square in the nose, cartilage cracking as it sends him back in a pile of trash, crying and grasping his nose. I look ahead of me at the speeding light, and remembered that the blur must be that superhero the Flash from the Justice League with my parents. Well if there is gonna be a Justice Leage member here I should probly put on my mask so I reached in my pocket for..... Nothing.

Shit!
It's with my costume .
At my house.
Which is far away.
And I'm busy.
I want gummy bears.
I wonder if Slushies have that flavo-
Wait, what the hell?
Again?!?

'Well,' I thought. 'At least I have a spare old domino mask in my bag.' I darted to the ground to where my bag lay hidden my my coat and reached inside for the familiar price of crumpled cloth and slapped it on my face.

Back to reality bitch.

Another guy came charging at me like a bull, and I smiled, tilting my head to the side as my hair hung over my shoulder like a long red cloak. He came, running full speed, the. I leaped into the air, sending him head first into the bin behind me. I threw my head back and laughed...

Then found myself wracked with mind numbing pain as I came hurtling towards the ground in a heap blood and feathers.

I felt a little light headed when I attempted to sit up, and about fell back down in the process. Then that flash of mostly yellow and red was over here and caught me before I fell again.
I'm pretty sure it was a boy who was no older than me with orange hair. He kinda reminds me of someone... I guess.
"Hey! Look! Listen to me, alright? Are you okay? We need to get you to a hospital! Whats your name?" He asked.

I giggled, he sounded like Navi for a moment there.

"Whhaatt?! Imm nott telllin youuuuuu." I say with slurred words.

I'm pretty sure I sound like a drunk person. And I was losing blood fast. He started running with his super speed, I could feel my hair whip around us in the cool wind, and I was getting dizzied by the second. He skidded to a stop and checked my faltering pulse.
"Stay awake okay? We are almost inside."

I responded with a slurred "ssorryy duudee, tooo tiierrrdd. Geewd niightt."

My vision was engulfed in darkness, fear seeping out and wrapping itself around me like a big black blanket.

And for the first time in forever, I was scared.
