to begin again

Chapter Two

The sun's light hit my face and of course my mum's shouting woke me up ''WAKE UP KIDS IT'S YOUR FIRST DAY AT THIS NEW SCHOOL'' said my mum with some joy and happiness. i got up from bed and went to wash my face and brush my teeth, then i went straight to the kitchen to have some coffee. i sat there drinking my coffee and wondering how today is going to be, i actually hope today would be such a good day for a first day at school, i mean we all know that first days at school are always hard specially when you're new to this school, you know no one and no one knows you, all eyes on you while you're walking the hallway and people will be wondering who the hell are you and where the hell did you come from. After finishing my small breakfast i went back to my room and stood in front of my closet looking for something good to wear, so i decided to wear some black boyfriend jeans and a white comfy sweater and my usual white converse, then i looked in the mirror and did my hair as a messy bun. After getting ready, me, my Brother alex and mum walked down to the car. Mum was so excited about me and my brother going to a new school and so was Alex, but i don't know if i actually was excited, i had these weird mixed feelings about how today is going to be, but anyway i decided to act cool for a while about this situation, so i got my headphones and started listening to some Ac/Dc songs, Yes i'm a metal head girl and you're probably surprised, but come on, METAL IS AWESOME, i know most girls these days are into One direction, justin bieber .. etc but yeah i've got too many favorite bands and singers just not those kinds, i prefer Acdc, Epica, nightwish, Bastille, Arctic Monkeys .. etc. 

i walked into the school hallway all nervous. i was actually hoping for one thing and that thing is to be able to begin again. i walked around this school trying to discover it before the bell rings and then i found a place where i could  sit and clear my thoughts. 

i was watching all of these people around me and hoping if i could meet someone who would make my day such a better day for a first day at school, but that won't happen. i mean it's not like you're in a movie and someone is gonna show up out of nowhere and be like "oh you must be new here" and then they'll introduce themselves and after that they'll introduce you to some of their friends and like that you don't get to spend your day alone in a crowded place of unknown faces,i mean i felt so alone at this moment, i was sitting all alone in a crowded place, full too many mysterious faces.

the bell rang, i got up and headed to my first class, it was History and i seriously love History but sometimes it can get a little bit boring. as soon as i got to my class, i sat at the end next to a girl, i don't know her name yet but i was hoping for her to start a conversation with me so i won't end up alone for a whole freaking day. Few minutes later the girl next to me said "seems like you're new here right?'" she asked with a smile on her face and oh my god she was so beautiful and everyone could see that, she had this beautiful long ginger hair and her eyes were light green. "i'm scarlette, scarlette martin"

-"i'm Jenna, Jenna Gostin" i greeted her back with a small smile " and yes i'm new here''

-"don't be nervous it's gonna be alright" said Scalette with a small laugh, i felt like this girl was reading my mind, or maybe it was obvious on my face how nervous i actually am right now. 

-"but it's my first day and i know no one, it's really weird and awkward"

-"hey, now you know Scarlette, you're not alone anymore okay? how about i'll show you around later and we'll get to know each other okay?"

-"sounds great !" i said with a smile on my face, i was actually happy, i just made a new friend, this was so not expected, like seriously how fast was that, who knew me Jenna Gostin could make a new friend on her first day at school.

After having that small conversation with Scarlette our History teacher walked in and that's when the lesson begin. 

8:30 that's when our History Class was done, me and scarlette got up and walked out of the class, i was so excited about having this walk with her, i mean maybe i'll get to meet some new people from Scarlette's friends. She showed me where the Cafeteria was, then she showed me where the rest of my classes were, after that we went to sit somewhere to talk and get to know each other a bit.

8:45AM

i had math and i hate math so much and plus it's even worse cause Scarlette and i don't have math class together so i guess i'll be sitting alone for the next hour. 

and finally the six hours of being at school ARE OVER, mum came to pick me and my brother and then she drove back home. "how was your day?" asked mum 

-"it was good actually" and from that i answer i didn't know if i was actually lying or it was true, i mean my day wasn't so bad i got to meet Scarlette, and at least i didn't get to spend my day alone, Scarlette was with me. 

-"oh really? you made some new friends?" said mum to me with a huge smile on her face

-"yup, but only one, her name is Scarlette Martin we have history, english and GYM class together"

-"i'm so happy for you jenna, what about you alex? did you make some new friends" 

-" mum, a lot actually" said my brother to my mum.

few minutes later we arrived to our house, as i entered my room i immediately threw my bag on the floor and jumped on my true love which is my bed and just after few seconds of being in my bed i fell asleep.
