Kirideku?

Okay, so I'ma do a thing here that's completely necessary, because I say so. Also, I'ma just completely skip over the internships that happen after the sports festival. Basically what happened with that was that since Izuku isn't really friends with Iida, he never noticed that anything was wrong, plus he obviously doesn't wind up interning with Gran Torino, so he doesn't even find out about the whole business until the rest of the class does. So, he obviously doesn't wind up saving him from Stain and some other hero saves him instead and Stain is captured. Yada yada. But yeah, these next parts are gonna be a bit more angsty than usual, so be prepared for that.

Izuku's POV
He's not entirely sure how it happened but apparently he and Bakugou are friends now. He's started sitting at Izuku's table at lunch (along with Shouto and Kirishima-kun) and he often finds himself talking to the blonde as he turns around in his seat before class starts. Izuku can tell that Shouto still doesn't really like the blonde and Kirishima is noticeably uncomfortable around him sometimes, but neither of them make a particular effort to ignore him unless he's done something to specifically aggravate them.

Izuku's not exactly sure when it happened, but he's recently realized that he has not so platonic feeling for Kirishima-kun. Apparently he's painfully obvious about it too, because Bakugou teases him about it a couple of times. But it isn't until one day at lunch when Kirishima-kun turns to him with his megawatt smile that he realized he's completely and utterly fucked.

Izuku spends a few weeks after that suffering in silence and apparently it's becoming obvious because Shouto asks him what's wrong a couple times, but Izuku just tells him he's tired and goes back to being stuck in his own thoughts, Kirishima-kun's smile plastered on the backs of his eyelids so he sees it every time he blinks. Eventually, Bakugou gets fed up with his pining and tells his he's being stupid, that he should just confess.

That night, Izuku is laying in his dorm room, glaring at the ceiling, unable to fall asleep since his mind is plagued with possible outcomes of his probable confession. What if he doesn't like me back and stops being my friend? What if he hates me? What if… the bad outcomes just keep replaying in his head over and over again until he's mentally exhausted himself. He sighed, pushing himself to his feet and leaves the room to go get a drink.

Izuku is surprised when, upon exiting his room, he runs directly into the person who's been plaguing his thoughts recently. "Oh, sorry about that, Todoroki-kun, I didn't see you," Kirishima-kun says smiling at him and Izuku is thankful for the dim lighting as it hides the blush that rises to cover his face.

"That's alright, Kirishima-kun!" Izuku replies, smiling back at him.

"Alright, seeya in the morning, Todoroki," Kirishima says and they turn, making their way in seperate directions. Izuku stops after only a few steps and turns back. Now would be the perfect time to tell him, that and it may be the only time he's willing to.

He bites his lip before calling out to his crush, "Kirishima-kun, wait," He calls out and the redhead stops, looking back over his shoulder with a raised eyebrow. "Can I uh, can I talk to you for a second?" Izuku asks and Kirishima makes his way back towards him.

"What's up, dude? Is something wrong?" The redhead asks and Izuku gives a small shake of his head.

"Er, no. I just um… I don't really know how to say this, but I don't know if I'll ever get the courage to again, so if not now then I might never, so here goes, IreallylikeyoulikealotandI'mprettysureyoudon'tfeelthesamebutIthoughtIshouldprobblytellyouanyway," Izuku says it in such a rush he isn't sure Kirishima was even able to understand it, but he doesn't say anything else, just stares down as his feet as he rocks back and forth on his heels nervously.
