"Where are our precious grandchildren...!" Grandma Tina said with open arms and we greeted them with a warm hug. Grandma Tina and Grandpa Fuller De Novo gave us a kiss on the cheek and we welcome this inside.

"How about us, where is our warm welcome. Don't forget about your beloved Grandma Mary and Grandpa Gordon you Walters-De Novo." I laugh at the sight of my mother's parents, Grandma Mary and Grandpa Gordon.

"Warm welcome, and of course we didn't forget about you Grandma and Grandpa Walters!" I winked as I giggle and gave them a warm hug with a kiss on the cheek, the same with Caesar.

So, were all here. Dad and Mom's sibling isn't coming in New York for Christmas so it's just the eight of us which is a good thing since my mother's side of the family is very noisy and entertaining. That kind of party is not my cup of tea, I prefer a calm and happy party with just a small group of people.

I smile at the sight of my grandparents, they are really entertaining in a warm way. Not like my relatives in Florida and California who is noisy and energetic. It's my dad's fault why is my attitude like this, he also doesn't like energetic and noisy people with noisy parties. Just like me, he prefers a calm and happy party with calming jazz music and some fancy hors d'oeuvres which my brother always cooks. He's a good chef.

As my parents and my grandparents are in the dining table chatting, I make my way to the living room and turned the television on. Now, what movie will I watch on Netflix? The Grinch, The Knight Before Christmas, Frozen, Home Alone, The Holiday, Deck the Halls, Princess Switch. Gosh, I've watched these movies already and I don't want to watch them again. I wish I didn't watch those movies before Christmas, I don't have any movies to watch.

Even my phone got nothin'. These suggestions are the movies I've watched. Useless! I opened my eyes wider so as to not make me fall asleep and continued surfing for movies. I yawned and wiped the tears in my eyes. Gosh, this is my greatest regret. I wish I didn't watch Princess Switch: Switched Again on November. I was really excited to watch that in November that I didn't wait for December. Anyways, Duchess Margaret became queen at the end.

"Whatcha Doin', sis. Surfing for movies. You've watched those before Christmas, aren't those movies too boring watch again." Caesar said while putting my hot chocolate on the table.

"I know," I said. "I am just surfing for more movies to watch."

"How about Virgin River, I mean you love Robyn Carr," Caesar suggested while sitting down on the sofa chair, drinking his hot chocolate.

"Seriously, Caesar. Virgin River? It's Christmas and besides, I also finished the latest episode of Virgin River. There's no way I'm watching it again."

"What is that Christmas Movie that is newly released again?" Caesar thinks and sips his hot choco. "What that Princess Switch 2, you said you were going to watch it in December. Which is right now."

"Supposed to be," I said. "But too much excitement caused me to watch it early when it got released. So, no. No movies to watch."

"How about Horror?" Are you an idiot?

"You know I don't like Horror."

"Thriller? SciFi?"

"I hate Thriller and as much as I love Science Fiction, I don't have the guts to watch it this season since it's snowing outside." I drink my hot choco vigorously not minding the heat will burn my tongue.

"What does snow got to do with SciFi?" He asked.

"Isn't it obvious--"

"It's Christmas, I know." He raised his hands lightly in the air. "And you want the movie to match with the season you are in. Don't get me wrong since that's nice but I advise you to watch Christmas Movies only for Christmas since you have no movies to watch to 'fit your season'." He made an air quote and quote sign.

I rolled my eyes and slump comfortably in the couch while sipping hot choco.

"Now, what in the world is going on here," We turned around and saw my father's father a.k.a my Grandpa Fuller. "You're having Netflix with no movie?"

"No," I answered. "I have no movies in mind to watch Grandpa, I've watched every Christmas Movie on Netflix and I don't wanna watch those movies again, it's boring."

Grandpa Fuller gets the remote and picked Home Alone 1 to watch. "How about that movie?"

"Seriously Gramps, Home Alone 1? I've watched that movie a lot of times and I'm 25-years old."

"Well, I have that movie ever since it was released and I'm 72-years-old. That's your father's favourite movie, by the way." Yeah, Home Alone 1 and 2 is dad's favourite and he watches that every Christmas.

"Yeah, maybe I can watch that movie again," I said

"Now, that's the spirit. Even though how much I've watched this since 1990, this movie never gets old." Gramps said and we chuckled.

Like an echo in the forest, the day will come back around as if nothing happened. Yeah, life goes on...

"Like an echo in the forest haruga doraogetji amu ildo eopdan deusi. Yeah, life goes on..." I sign as I surf my Instagram after a long hour of filling up some paperwork. Thank God that dad said that he will help me with my paperwork if not then I wouldn't be relaxing. Anyway, we finished at the same time--almost at the same time since he finished first then me.

Right now, I'm in the living room doing multitasking watching TV, surfing my phone and having a sing-along with BTS but singing in broke Korean. Who cares, at least I'm just babbling some words that sound almost the same. Don't get me wrong though since I can speak Korean a little bit rather than sticking with French and Spanish which is a very easy language for me to speak alongside with Latin.

Like an arrow in the blue sky another day flying by. On my pillow, on my table, yeah life goes on
like this again.

"Like an arrow in the blue sky tto haru deo naragaji. On my pillow, on my table. Yeah, life goes on like this again."

"Sis, could you lower your Chinese song. I'm trying to read the new book Grandma Tina just gave me." Caesar said who is reading his book outside enjoying--well, I don't know if he's enjoying the cold but it looks like he's enjoying it.

"Korean," I corrected.

"Whatever. Korean, Chinese, it all sounds the same." He shouted.

"Tais toi!" I snapped.

"Je fermerai la bouche une fois que vous aurez baissé le volume," Instead of turning the volume down, I get my headphones and plug it in my phone.

"Merci beaucoup."

I would say de rien but he ruined my mood saying that Korean is Chinese so nevermind.

"Hey, the television's on and you're not watching let me turn that off." Grandma Tina said turning the TV off. "You're just like your Grandpa, he always turns the TV on and does something else."

"You mean I'm just like daddy and grandpa," Grandma smiles and sits beside me. "You know Granny, dad and I also has your genes. The way he doesn't like loud noises and loud parties but likes a calm party."

"Yeah," She smiled. "It's a pity your uncles and aunts can't come to New York since they're in Florida and California. You know, about their business."

"Oh, don't worry Grandma. There is always next year to celebrate Christmas together," I put my headphones down and hugged my grandmother.

"You're right, Catherine Claire."
