Me: Nana?

Me: Jaemin I really need to tell you something please just listen
Nana: I've always been listening wdym
Me: I've tried telling you this twice now
Nana: I'm all ears go ahead
Me: nothing's getting in the way this time?
Nana: I can't promise anything you know I have a hectic life
Me: you don't even have 5 minutes?
Nana: no, also you're going to hate me for this
Me: what?
Nana: I have to go we'll talk tomorrow

Me: Nana?
Nana: can't talk rn practicing

Me: Jesus the one time I take a nap I miss my chance to talk to you

Nana: I'm sorry I have a day off soon maybe we can go somewhere
Me: sounds great, nothing's getting in the way?
Nana: I hope not I miss you
Me: I miss you more than you can imagine, Nana

Me: yay! Noon at my place?

Nana: something came up maybe around 5?

Me: omg yay! Finally I'll see your face!

Nana: I can't come I'm sorry jeno got hurt I need to go see him

Nana: okay, he said thank you. I'm so sorry I couldn't come I miss your face so much I want to give you the biggest hug right now and I'm so disappointed I can't. I really wish I just had the time to talk to you everyday but I just don't and I feel a distance between us and I hate it, you're my best friend and I never want to lose you. Please wait for me I will see you soon, please don't give up on me. I love you so much

Me: Nana don't be mad at yourself I get it you can't control your schedule and it's okay I'll see you eventually. I love you :)
Nana: please wait for me
Me: I always will

Nana: I have a 30 minutes lunch break I'm coming over
Me: I'm not home though
Nana: where are you
Me: the pet store that I work at in the mall
Nana: even better I'm omw

Nana: which store is your work close to
Me: it's across from the food court

My heart began to speed faster than I knew it could; I could hear it over the music I played in my headphones. I slid over to the mirror we kept in the back to check if I looked okay. I didn't have any makeup on and my hair was a bit greasy, but nothing Jaemin hadn't seen before. I couldn't believe he was finally going to be here, I was so excited I felt like kissing someone. Kissing Nana. I was in love with him but he had no clue, that's what I had been dying to tell him and now I finally could.
Then, I got a text.

Nana: come to the front

I walked outside to the counter only to see an empty store.
"Nana?" I called out. Only a quiet meow replied.

Me: I don't see you
Nana: you will

I looked around, confused. Then, massive heart balloons peeped from around the corner of the window. Then, Jaemins smiling face appeared. I began to cry uncontrollably, he was finally here, I could finally touch him.
"Nana!" I squealed as I bolted to him. He wrapped his arms around me and lifted my feet from the ground. Everything felt so bright and weightless. I was floating around in what they call heaven, wasn't i?
"Okay, tell me what you've been wanting to say," he said, walking me into the store where I led him to the back.
"Sit down," I told him as we plopped onto caved boxed of bird feed. The heart balloons were tied to my wrist now.
"Nana, ive been keeping this inside for a year now," I started. Our first face to face conversation in months was this, okay.
"I'm in love with you." His smile faded. At that moment my heart dropped into my gut, casing me to gag before tearing up.
"No, don't cry. I just-" he couldnt speak, he was so appalled he was lost of words, yay. I knew this was a bad idea, now I've lost my best friend.
"I don't know how you didn't notice." I looked up.
"Since the day I met you, I've been trying to get you to love me. I've almost grabbed your face and kissed you so hard your lips turned numb countless of times. I can't believe you feel the same way!" His smiled returned bigger than before. I felt my heart beat harder one again.
Then, after all this time, it finally happened. He slid his hand across my cheek to cup it as his lips came closer to mine. I felt my body get dangerously close to trembling from excitement. Then, our lips met, moving perfectly together like they were destined to meet.
"I love you, Jaemin," I said once pulling away. He smiled with droopy eyes.
"I love you more."

This one wasn't as emotional as my stories usually get, but I needed an escape today. I need some Nana energy in my life at the moment, I've been pretty stressed lately and he always lifts my heart.
