                          POV: Katie

He isn't worth your anything. I tell myself. I don't seem to believe it. One of my favorite things every day was when he pranked my cabin. Sure, the pranks were annoying and immature, but I woke up to Travis every morning. That probably won't happen now.

Anyway, I realized that Travis Stoll is a player. He wants a girlfriend. He won't stay with Alliana for long. He never stays with anyone for more than about 2 months.

I started getting ready after I thought about all of this. I actually made myself feel better. That was good!

After I was fully dressed and ready, I led my cabin to breakfast. That's when I spotted a crown of blonde hair, a kind face, and.... a new guy? He was talking to Travis. I actually didn't really know if this guy was new, but I've never seen him before so I'm assuming he is. The new kid asked Travis a question. Travis responded by pointing me out. The new guy just stared at me. I met his eyes and blushed. Wow. This guy was cute.

A shove from Travis later, he's walking toward me. I feel my heart rate quicken and I suddenly become a bit self-conscious.

The new kid walks to right in front of me, "hi there. I'm Aaron Scott. I don't know my godly parent yet. But, you look like a daughter of Aphrodite?" He smirks.

I burst out laughing. I can not contain myself, "me? Definitely not. Daughter of Demeter. I can grow plants."

"Sounds pretty cool," Aaron stated. "Well, Travis over there, said that you could show me around."

"Oh, uh sure!" I smiled. "When do you want the grand tour of Camp Half-Blood?" I waved my arm around, gesturing the camp.

"Whenever you're ready. Oh! Have you eaten?" He seems so concerned about me.

Son of Apollo. I think.

"No, I normally don't eat breakfast," upon seeing the worry in his face I add, "I usually grab some strawberries in the fields."

That seems to relax Aaron a little bit. "Ok. Travis said you sometimes don't eat."

Of course, he did. I sigh.

"Aaron, I'll be fine," I smile gently. I'm going to wait to ask this kid out until after he gets claimed. "Let's get this tour started!"

I start walking, telling Aaron all about everything. I purposely took a way that would end at the strawberry fields. "And these," I said, "are the strawberry fields. It's one of my favorite spots in all of camp." I smiled as I picked two fresh strawberries off a bush. I hand one to Aaron.

He plops the strawberry in his mouth and smiles, "this is the best strawberry I've ever had. Did you grow these yourself?" I blush a little.

"Kind of. My siblings helped a little but they all take care of the woods and other stuff. The teach my youngest siblings basics." He puts a hand on my shoulder.

A golden, glowing sun appeared over Aaron's head. "Apollo!" I yelled. "I knew it!"

"Son of Apollo," he smiled. "Sweet."

I can totally date this guy! I got really excited. "Well, why don't I introduce you to some of your siblings. Will Solace is an awesome healer. He's pretty much our camp doctor."

I start walking away. "Wait, Katie, can you show me your absolute favorite spot here?"

I blushed. "Sure." I lead him into the woods to my secret garden.

He looks around and smiles. "It's beautiful," he looks at me and smiles even more.

Suddenly, he's kissing me. I kiss back.

Oh yeah! That was a heck of a chapter! Tell me if you like it!
