                           POV: Travis

I was finishing washing the dinner dishes. (Don't ask how I got this stupid duty.) I heard a girl use some not nice words in Ancient Greek. I felt like I recognized the gentle voice, but I couldn't figure out who it was.

I heard the girl quietly come into the kitchen.

"I know you're in here," I said, continuing to scrub the dishes.

"I know," the girl said.

That voice. Her voice. Katie! It was Katie Gardner's voice! My heart did a flip. "Katie."

"Hm?" Katie said. She put the dishes in the sink then grabbed a broom.

"Oh nothing," I watched her walk back into the dining area. She swept up some glass.

"You ok?" I asked. I kind of yelled it.

"Yeah. Rosy just dropped her plate," Katie said as she came back in and dumped the glass in the trash can.

I smiled at her. She smiles back, confused.

"What are you smiling at?" Katie said, still smiling.

"You," I gently grabbed her hand, after taking my gloves off, and pulled her closer to me. She stumbled and put a hand on my chest to keep herself from falling. Katie blushed.

My eyes started to close as I leaned closer to her face. She did the same.

And before I knew, I was kissing Katie Gardner. I smiled against her lips and felt her smile back.

Katie pulled away. "I'm assuming you and Alliana broke up?" She asked me.

I nodded, "Yeah, and you and Aaron broke up?"

"Yep. He likes someone else," she said. She wasn't sad though.

"And you?" I asked her. My hand crept to the back of her neck.

"I guess I liked someone else too," Katie grinned at me.

"Let me guess who," I said excitedly.

"Ok," Katie laughed.

"Umm... Connor!" I guessed, as a joke, obviously.

Katie shook her head, with a grin plastered to her face.

"Um....Leo Valdez?"

Katie made a gagging face, "No offense to Leo, but no way."

I grinned and kissed her again, "Me?"

Katie kissed me back and nodded.

AHHHH!!! I really liked writing this. I hope you like reading this.
