Bubble's P.O.V

I sighed as I walked into the school. Maybe I could avoid my alliance? Who was I kidding, that wasn't possible. Ruby obviously wasn't close to being avoidable, considering the fact she is my sister. Adoptive sister, maybe, but still my sister. Of course the first person I saw when I walked into the school was pencil.

Pencil rolled her eyes as she noticed me and waved me over. Uh oh, NOT a good sign. "Hey Bubble!" I flinched and hesitated, but then started to walk over to her. "How was your summer? Me and Match spent all three months on an island way out in the ocean! We had so much fun, we even got to swim with dolphins! There were these awesome glowing fruits that were perfect for painting with!" I knew that even though Pencil asked about my summer, she didn't really want me to answer, so i kept silent. Then Match walked over. "Yeah! Too bad we couldn't invite you and Ruby, but neither of you answered your phones all summer," Match sighed. I felt bad. I could have at least answered Match's call, but I didn't. Match was at least trying to include me in something unlike Pencil.

Even after bfb Pencil didn't seem to understand why I didn't like her all that much. Still, I stayed in the alliance. Although, it wasn't much of an alliance after the competition ended. More like a friend group if I'm being totally honest. A very excluding friend group that nobody was allowed to be part of no matter how good of friends with one or even multiple of us.

"It's okay. Me and Ruby had fun during the summer on our own." Of course that was a lie, but I wasn't about to admit i was bored out of my mind during the whole summer. Fanny was visiting her grandparents for two of the months and Ruby was hanging out with Flower ALL summer. I saw Pencil's eye twitch slightly but then she immediately smiled widely. That was honestly terrifying and I thought I was about to be murdered right there on the spot. I am very glad she did NOT murder me. "Well at least we can have fun during school and the weekends now!" She pointed out. Pencil pulled Match across the hallway to her locker. I sighed of relief.

Algebra class was so weird. Four was our algebra teacher. I guess I expected that, really. What with him being named after a number and all. The only problem? He expected us to know college-level stuff. A Better name Than That was paired with Iance, so GB was in the class as well. She seemed to be the only one that was having fun in that class. She was also the only one who was gatting answers right. Sometimes I envy how smart she is. I don't even know how she got that smart. i don't think people can be that smart in high school, even if they studying things of that high of a level every second of every single day. Maybe she just has extremely good memory and remembers every fact that she learns and that makes her able to study things of a much higher grade. I don't know, I don't really look that far into it. Even if I am extremely curious as to how she is that smart.

There is the other possibility that she's like an alien or something-

but technically we all are to you because we don't live on earth but maybe-

I have no idea what I was saying, moving on past me.

RUBY P.O.V

I was in science class, my second period class, bored as people can be. Our science class was run by X, I wouldn't have expected X to run our science class. He doesn't really have anything to do with science. We were learning below grade to start off the year. EASY! I couldn't wait for the class to end so i could hang out with my friends in passing period. Sure, passing periods weren't exactly that long, but they let me talk to people and let out energy. So I liked them none the less. The bell rang and I tried to hold in a shout of joy. Did. Not. Work. As I ran out the door I squealed.

The day was over, finally. My backpack was full of algebra homework and two science quizzes. I have google plus the addition of the work being below grade, so I didn't really care how much homework I had for science. Algebra, on the other hand, was a different story. I couldn't use google for that, trust me I have tried. I waved at my old friend Book as I walked out of the school. but she didn't wave back, she had been ignoring me for a while since she got a new team during bfb. (I just realized with all the abandonment things, Book kinda did the same thing to freesmart in bfb wow-) I tried to brush it off, but it still gave me an uneasy feeling. Maybe I could try and call her some day? Flower ran over to me. "Hey, Ruby? Wanna do out homework together at my house? It would let us work together and not have as much work to do alone." She slung her bag over her shoulder. "Of course, why wouldn't I?" I pulled Flower into a tight hug.

"Ruby you're suffocating me." Flower breathed. "Oh, sorry!" I apologized, letting go of her. "I forget that some people aren't as immune to hugs as others!"

"It's fine! Come on, let's go. If I'm late home my mom's going to think I've been kidnapped. And if I arrive after that then I'm going to be grounded for making her worried." Flower said. "Oh, yeah. We do NOT want that to happen." I laughed.
