First day Freshmen

LEAFY'S POV

I hopped out of my bed and raced downstairs. Today was my first day of high-school. Honestly, I was terrified. i didn't want to show my fear though. Least year I was an eighth grader at Goiky middle school. I had some of my friends there with me, but some of them went to different middle schools. One thing I couldn't believe was that every team of BFB would be there. I would have to see the other teams again and i didn't think I was ready to do that. Of course I talked to my old team through discord groupchats while i was in middle school. Still, it would be kind of weird seeing them in person again. My brothers Tree and Woody stepped out of their rooms. Woody was on my former team, Beep, and Tree was in Death P.A.C.T, not a very good team name for people trying to PREVENT death if you ask me. "WOAH! Leafy you don't need to be in such a rush!" Tree shouted after me. "I know I'm just too exited!" I was jumping around the living room in my new school uniform, that I stole from Pen because he is a stupid dum dum. Also I didn't like the school uniforms and I thought it was funny to have him be forced to wear the female uniform. Tree sighed and went to the kitchen to make toast. 

As woody and I sat at our breakfast table my phone made a loud beeping sound that started both of my brothers. "Sorry guys!" I chuckled, "It was just someone texting me!" I pulled the phone out of my sweater pocket and pulled up my contacts. Pin was texting from our groupchat, you know, that thing i mentioned earlier. 

PinLeSharpGurl (Pin): Hey team members! Are you all exited for high-school!

FuriousFire (Firey): Not really. More upset that we have to start school again to be honest.

IamPriceless (Coiny): Well I'm exited!

KnifeHoarder (Me): I agree with Coiny! This is going to be F U N.

FuriousFire: Of course you would be the one to say that...

PinLeSharpGurl: Firey would you mind explaining to the knife hoarder what you just said to her?

IamPriceless: Firey doesn't know HOW to explain it. He doesn't understand it. Because he is stupid.

NoPointInWaiting (Needle): NFVBHVNJHVN S H U S H-

KnifeHoarder: It doesn't really matter, I don't need this dumdum to explain anything to me. I have to eat breakfast now, though. I'll see you guys when the carpool shows up!

PinLeSharGurl: Kay bai. See you later.

I turned my phone off and turned back to my toast and quickly ate it. I shoved everything into my backpack just as my team's carpool appeared in the parking lot. "See you at school guys! Tree, your carpool should arrive soon as well. Woody, be safe walking to school, okay?" I told them both as I rushed out the front door to meet my friends in the parking lot. I opened the door into the car and buckled myself into one of the huge back seats next to pin. "Hey pin! Oh, you changed your hairstyle? It's cute!" I squealed. "Yeah. I got tired of the spiky bun hairstyle so I decided to try half-up ponytails! I don't like it that much though... I think I'm going to change it back tomorrow." Pin replied in her usual tone. I don't know why but I have always been fascinated by Pin's voice, though I did once overhear her call MY voice freakish so i guess I just like her voice for no reason. I swung my backpack down to the floor as the car started up. I had gotten uncomfortable with it squishing me. I don't understand why highschools make you have so many materials when you don't even need to use half of the materials because they give you them during the school year anyways. "How has your summer been Needle?" I asked. "Boring. I didn't do anything all summer. My parents were out of town on a business trip so I was stuck taking care of my brother. He's SO MUCH work. I don't know why they couldn't just take him with them. It's not like they were going to do anything on their trip. they said all they had to do was go to a few conference meetings and then they would have the rest of the summer off." Needle turned to stare out the window. "Aw, that's sad..." I said. Not exactly as sad as being abandoned in a giant house by your mother with nobody but three siblings while all of you were in middle school just because she got divorced with your dad, but still sad. "Well, MY summer has been the best summer I have ever had! Okay, maybe I might be a bit over-exaggerating there, but it was still a lot of fun! I'm sorry i couldn't get in touch with you all for half of it, but I was hanging out on inanimate island and Nickel showed me some of his friends!" Coiny boasted. "That sounds cool! I know some people on inanimate island but not much. If I had spent my summer on inanimate island I would never want to leave, they have much cooler things than goikey does," I managed to say. I was honestly kind of jealous. A whole summer on inanimate island? Who WOULDN'T be?! "Oh yipee. We're here," Firey groaned in a sarcastic tone of voice. I hate Firey.
