Leafy P.O.V because she is my favorite character and I love her. Honestly this book is going to end up being about Leafy instead of the whole cast if i keep this up i'm SoRRy

i sighed as i sat on my bed playing geometry dash on my Ipad. My mom was supposed to come over and i was not happy with it. You see, after my parents got divorced and Tree, Woody, EL and I became pre-teens, my mom kind of just left us to live miles away with our cousins. We never really understood why, but Tree always said it was because mom never wanted to have a divorce with dad and we were always a reminder of him to her. I guess I kind of get it, because at the time three of the four of us had brown hair and that was the color of our father's hair, but other than that we bore no resemblance to him whatsoever. 

Now Tree and I have to pay the stupid bills because we are the most responsible.

"Leafy come downstairs, mom is pulling up in the driveway and she will probably expect us all to be eating dinner together like a normal family." Tree said. "will EL be there too?" i asked, expecting the answer to be no. "I forced her to come out of her room, telling her that we were all as unhappy about mom coming as she is. " he said again. "well ain't that the truth." i scoffed. "You better not tell mom either of us had the second half of this conversation." "I won't, promise."

I went downstairs and quickly sat down at the table just before my mom walked in through the door. "well isn't that the cutest thing, you all are eating together!" Might as well have just said "you all remained sane after I abandoned you, good job, you get nothing for it." I thought to myself. "we made some for you too mom, if you would like some!" Tree said. "awh, thank you." mom sat down at the table in-between me and woody. "So what have ya'll been up too?" she asked, "And who is this?" Loser looked up from where he was staring at the table, trying to avoid her i'm guessing. "Uhh... I'm Loser. I'm leafy's friend from school. We're on the same- er... in the same... gym... class. Tree offered to let me stay after my parents kicked me out." Wow that sounded freaking awkward. "wow, how nice of you tree!" mom exclaimed. "Thanks. i've started focusing on something other than studying since last year, and I've gotten better at socializing. I even have a group of friends now. And every single one of them keeps joking about me being homosexual so that's FUN." Tree muttered.

"well ARE you?" mom asked. "am I... what?" Tree replied, trying to shake off the topic. If I had to guess he didn't intend for her to actually hear the last part. "Are you homosexual?" she asked again. "Uhhh... I don't... know? I'm sixteen I still have time to explore my sexuality." Tree shrugged. "uh huh... How about you Woody? " she turned over. " Wah uh." Woody turned away, eating instead. "still can't talk huh? Interesting." mom was about to ask me the same question but i spoke first. "He's afraid of speaking, so of course he isn't going to talk. I can only recall ONE TIME when he has spoken." Mom nodded along. "that makes sense. Well how have you been sweetie? Made any new friends besides... eh... Loser I think his name is?" "Yup. i could name a few if you would like, and explain them to you." Another chance to compare people. I love comparing people, as long as it isn't to make them feel worse or to make me feel better. 

"Sure sweetie, go on ahead." 

"Well my main friends are pin and Coiny. Pin can be a bit bossy at times but overall she's really cool. her hair is red but she dyed parts of it grey so when she has a spikey-bun style the grey part is on the spikes. Coiny has ginger hair and is kind of funny. He really likes investing in getting people get together. that's kind of what out group is for." I started off, "they you have my other group of friends besides them. That includes loser, Gelatin, bell, and Teardrop. You've met loser. gelatin has dark green hair like me and Tree and has a cool sense of humor. sometimes he'll come over to play minecraft or something. He's also really polite, even though is is a lot more childish than anyone else that i know. Bell is also really cool, he has dark blonde hair. teardrop has blue hair and can't speak at all. Woody really likes her, even though she has a sarcastic attitude when writing or texting." i continued, not even letting my mother comment, "then there's Firey. I was friends with him back when I was nine if you can remember. Same as with bubble. There's also needle, Eggy, and Cake. I don't like Needle that much. Eggy is cool when she's not stating a stupid theory about something. Cake is pretty shy. he's Loser's boyfriend. "

"That sounds great. i'm glad to hear you have so many friends Leafy." mom said. "Evil leafy, have you made any friends?" El shook her head, obviously not wanting to talk to mom. 

boy this stay is going to seem very long.

AYE I'M BACK YAAAAAAAAY. i'm feeling a lot better too! If you didn't notice i made Leafy say slightly more about Gelatin than she did everyone else. At this point in the story Leafy likes gelatin but doesn't really understand because she still kinda likes pin and thinks you can only have a crush on one person at a time because that has always been her experience lol.
