Jungkook didn't know what to expect from college.

He heard lot's of things that he wasn't even sure if it was true. Unless all of them weren't true at all either.

He heard that you made ever lasting friends that would invite him to parties. He had seen it in movies to but that didn't seem so appealing to him, so he truly hoped college wasn't actually like that.

He wanted it to be an experience where he would meet new people and actually be close to them. Two or three close friends would even be enough. He would be able to learn a lot from them and grow into his own person.

That's why he decided that, even if college turned out to be like that, he would steer as far away as possible from that. He had to study hard and focus so he wouldn't lose his scholarship.

He was going to attend a university that specialized in music. If you were to ask him how he felt he would have said that he was fine and just a little nervous, but on the inside he was scared as shit.

He had decide to rent a apartment near school campus, but he had to room with another college student. He didn't know who the other guy was, but he hoped they would get along. Well actually, all Jungkook wanted was for the other guy to accept his love for pastel aesthetic.

He didn't really care about how the other guy was, just as long as he accepted his way of dressing unlike what he experienced back in high school, being bullied and judged for it.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when the car stopped. His parents had came to drop him off. They helped him move his stuff into his share of the apartment.

As they were finishing moving in his stuff, he felt a wave of fear wash over him. He didn't want to become an adult yet and moving in to a shared apartment without his parents made him feel like he was becoming an adult and he didn't like it. He wanted to refuse that feeling and his parents giving him that stare made it clear that it was hard for them to say their goodbyes too. Their eyes held proudness in it along with pain. They changed their facade into one that just showed proudness. They weren't going to make their goodbye hard. After all, they only lived 30 minutes away. The only thing bothering them was that they wouldn't be able to see each other as often due to the amount of time and effort that he would have to put in into his studies to be able succeed in his career.

At least he had his friends Taehyung, Jin hyung, and Namjoon hyung here at the same college. He would've roomed with Tae, but he had already wanted to stay roomed with 2 other guys -that Jungkook hasn't met- because they had become great friends.

He knew that one of them was the same age, majoring in dance. The other was a year older and was also majoring in dance. Now that he would live here he would be able to finally meet them. He decided that after meeting his roommate, he would go meet them.

And with Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung... they were dating and he definitely did not want to be stuck as the third wheel with them, so he kindly declined their offer and promised them to visit when he had free time.

Jungkook had came 3 days  earlier to pick up his keys for his shared apartment, so when he went to the door to the apartment he already had the keys to unlock it.

When he entered, the apartment was dark, all the blinds were drawn and the lights were off, so he guessed that his roommate hadn't arrived it. He turned on the lights to make it easier to see and set his things down.
After he put everything in place, his parents hugged him and left with a reassurance that he would call them when he could. When they closed the door he realized that he all alone in the apartment. He would have to take care of himself from now on.

Bunny: hyung, I settled in. If ur not occupied you can come over.

He waited to get an answer and when he did 2 minutes later he read it.

TaeTae: I'm sorry bunny I'm with my friends right now :( But you can come over to have dinner with us so u can meet them :)

Bunny: it's fine hyung and sure I'll come over later :)

He had nothing else to do so he decide to organize his clothes the way it was back home so it felt more like home.

His clothes were all pastel colored. There was white, pink, blue, purple, yellow, and mint. He had grown a passion to it when he met Tae. Tae didn't have the pastel aesthetic passion, he just helped Jungkook embrace his true self, his true passion to pastels.

It hadn't been easy to assure his parents that that was what he truly loved. After learning that he was really passionate about it, his parents fully supported him. Tae supported and actually loved seeing Jungkook in pastels. Tae said and he quotes that he looked 'like a cute and pretty little bunny in a field full of beautiful flowers'.

Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung had thought that it just made him cuter- if it was even possible for him. They were really protective of him because they saw him as their little brother.

He was bullied for it in high school, but now everything turned out okay. He was confident with his passion and nobody would make him doubt his own identity.

Jungkook was startled out of his thoughts when the door opened. He realized that the newcomer was his roommate - that he hasn't met. He breathed deeply to calm himself down, thinking of the first impression he would give his roommate.

He walked out of his room through the hallway that led to the living room. The walls were bare since nobody had anything on it. He heard the door close as he walked into the living room, ready to meet his roommate.

The guy at the door turned around.

His eyes widened at the guy.

He froze.

He would've been able to recognize that face anywhere.
