He had thought that his relationship with Yoongi couldn't be any worse.
He was proven wrong.

Now they couldn't be in the room for more than 5 minutes without bickering. Yoongi not only judges his clothing, now he chose to also call him immature and childish. Every single time he did it, Jungkook just wanted to go off about him telling him what's childish and what's not was immature too. He wanted to speak to him. He just didn't know when to say it. The only time they talked to each other was to say something that would anger the other, so how was he going to start a civilized conversation?

He decided to go to Yoongi's room. It was where Yoongi spent most of his time doing God knows what. He would confront him there.

However when he was about to barge to through the door, he heard music. Well actually just the instrumental, no lyrics. The he realized that, after it being played over and over again with subtle changes, Yoongi was composing.

Without knocking or any warning he opened the door and startled Yoongi. He stood there with a shocked face before he formed words to say.

"You're composing" He stated
"Yeah, that's what my major is about" Yoongi replies with a confused face.

And then it dawned on Jungkook that he hadn't known or bothered to ask what his roommate was majoring in. Sure they went to the same university, they shared a passion for music. Yet, despite that, he hadn't of thought that that was what Yoongi was studying.

"Are you going to stand there or do you have something to say to me?" Yoongi asked.

Jungkook just stared at him for a moment and turned around, walking out of the room and closing the door. He could hear the other sigh and return back to his composition.

He went to his room. He could still hear the melody and it captivated him. It was beautiful. He would never admit it out loud but Yoongi was definitely talented.

After that incident, they started to talk more civilized. Yoongi no longer criticized his clothing, instead they shared the same passion for music. He couldn't explain it but he felt like they were becoming closer, like friends of course.

The atmosphere was more welcoming and friendly. Yoongi still stayed in his room composing, sometime with headphones but most of the time without it. Usually Jungkook would just sit down and listen to him composing. It made him calm and feel inspiration. It was weird on how it made him feel so peaceful yet he still enjoyed it.

Maybe he was going paranoid, but he can swear that he feels like Yoongi knows that he listens to him, maybe even knows that he enjoys listening to his compositions. He felt it when he sees Yoongi staring at him, waiting for something, perhaps a compliment or a comment.

Yet, he refused to start the conversation so he waited for Yoongi to start the conversation. This continued for a long time but he remained patient. He still continued to keep in touch with Tae, Jimin, Hobi, Namjoon, and Jin so he wasn't alone most of the time. They invited him over to their apartment and went out together.

Jungkook would listen to Yoongi when he was drawing, painting, studying, and doing projects. It helped him receive inspiration and help him focus. The apartment was always filled with melodies. Almost 24 hours a day, but when it wasn't it felt so...silent. He had gotten used to hearing compositions of instrumentals so hearing silence made him feel uneasy and the apartment sound eerie.

Just when it felt that both had silently acknowledged to not talk about Jungkook listening to Yoongi composing, they talked about it.

It had started when Jungkook had thought that Yoongi wasn't in the apartment. He was working on a drawing that was supposed to be turned in the next day. The silence was bothering him so he decided to put music on. He didn't even realize that his humming had turned into full out singing. He sang with falsettos, vibratos, and every singing technique he knew.

He hadn't realized that Yoongi had been at the door the whole entire time, listening to him sing. Yoongi was going to come and ask him if he knew someone that could sing well because his partner wasn't going to be able to.

"Oh um how long have you been standing there?" Jungkook asked embarrassed that Yoongi had probably heard him.

"Long enough to hear you sing the whole song" answers Yoongi, still mesmerized by the other's singing skills.

"Oh um is there anything that you needed?" He asked.

Yoongi snapped out of his thoughts and remembered the reason he was here for. He realized what was the point of asking if Jungkook could sing very well. He had one of the most beautiful voices he had ever heard though he would never admit it out loud.

"My partner isn't able to sing for their part and I would like to ask if you would like to substitute for them."

Jungkook didn't know what caused him to agree. It was probably his passion for singing or maybe he was just excited to work with Yoongi. Whatever the case was, he agreed to help.

"Sure Yoongi ssi"
"Call me hyung kid"
"I would love to help you in your composition hyung!"
