It's 4 and I need to be home by 6, leaving me plenty of time to show this asshole who's boss.
We head to the open field in the park. It's technically illegal for us to use our quirks without a liscence, so we make sure to go somewhere we won't get caught. Then, the fight begins.
Immediatly, Yakkai attacks. I dodge am explosion while quickly sketching up Uncle Zawa. Once I finish, I make him erase the blonde's quirk.
"Oh okay. I see you; you want to lose in hand-to-hand combat, hmm? Fine by me, Urusai!"
He grins psychotically. I return the grin.
"You're not fighting just me."
I nod, indicating something's behind him. He turns as a rocky hand greets his face. I watch him fall.
"K-Kiri???"
His face looks so confused! I laugh so hard that I fall, rolling in the grass. I understand his confusion. No one expects their best friend to show up and start fighting against them. Perfect choice.
When I finally get up, I notice that Yakkai had begun to use his quirk again. I search for Aizawa, then realize he had disappeared, probably due to his eyes drying out. I begin trying to redraw him. As he takes Yakkai's quirk, the puff of smoke indicating Kirishima's disappearance appears. Yakkai is already coming after me, giving me no time to draw or think. I resort to my brute strength.
I lean to the right as his fist flies by my face and punch his stomach as his body passes me. He lands on his knees. I swiftly take the opportunity to pin him down. I lay him flat on the ground and pin his hands, legs, and torso. He struggles to get up, but I push myself on top to stop him. I bend down to his ear.
"I win."
He continues to struggle but can't get up. Finally, he gives up, sighing. I help him up with a confident smirk on my face. I look up and suddenly I'm on the ground with Yakkai above me.
"Gotcha, Urusai."
I stutter, "N-no, you gave up!"
He comes down to my ear and whispers,
"Fingers... crossed."I throw him off angrily.
"That's stupid!!!"
"I still won."
"NO YOU DIDN'T!"
"Urusai."
"WHAT?!"
I glare at him. He is really pissing me off.
"Erase Aizawa-sensei already. I want my quirk back."
I deadpan him.
"Fine."
I erase him and we walk home, arguing over who won. We resort to having a rematch when we get back from USJ. We separate, going to each of our houses. It's 5:40, so I'm good.
I enter the house, giving my parents the usual hand-to-forehead-and-saying-"mano-po" thing we do. Its a sign of respect...don't ask.
I go upstairs and finish my homework. When I'm done, I flop on my bed and recap on today's events.
I'm still pretty sure I won. Wait, do we need to pack for USJ? Dammit I should have listened to Zawa. Well it's fine. I don't thing we need to. It's for only one day, right? I'm pretty sure. Where should I sit tomorrow on the bus? Probably next to Yakkai. It makes sense because he's the only one I've really talked to. It'll also give me a chance to meet new people. Ugh, but he's really annoying. And he calls me Urusai. Not gonna lie, though, he's pretty adorable. If only he wasn't such an ass, lying to me and then pinning me down. Well I think I tired him out because when I looked at him, his face was red. Or, ya' know, he could've been blushing, but I doubt it. HA! Wouldn't it be gre-
"(Y/n)! Come down. It's time for dinner!"
My thoughts are interrupted by my mom.
"Coming!"
I scurry down in my sweatpants and (f/s). I meet with my parents at the dinner table.
"So, (y/n), we have some... news." My mom begins.
I squint at her.
"You're pregnant."
She blushes.
"Oh heavens, no!"
And thank God for that.
"Good. Then what is it?"
"Your father and I met a couple who runs a business that makes hero suits. She and her husband have a client out of town who wants a bunch of suits made because they want a collection of famous hero suits. Fans, amirite? Honestly, I think it's a pretty stupid reason, but one never questions a client. They asked your father and I to help them with materials."
"Wow. That's an amazing opportunity. You should take it!"
"We did. That does mean we won't be home for quite a while. We also don't know how long we'll be away..."
"O-oh, but I have school."
"We know. That's why your not coming."
"So, I'm just gonna stay home.... alone?"
Okokokok so fun fact: I may not look like the kind of person to be scared of being home alone... at night, even when there's a 9 out of 10 chance there's nothing there (Trevor Noah reference), but I am. And my parents know this.
"No. We know your weird paranoia. You will be staying with there son, who also goes to UA. So, you guys are going to take turns every week, staying at each other's house."
"Oh okay cool. What's his name?"
"Bakugo, Katsuki."
